Positive Perspectives is a program started by the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic of Minnesota that caters to the HIV/AIDS community. As quoted on their website:
"...is a support group for people newly diagnosed with HIV, people still adjusting and building support around living with HIV, or for people living with HIV who are isolated, having a difficult time or are not in medical care."
Registration is confidential and refreshments will be served. The best part is that the program is FREE!
To be eligible you must be:
- 18 years or older
- Recently diagnosed with HIV, or adjusting to living with it, or not on medical care
- Must be able to attend at least 3 meetings
