A friend sent me a video this morning entitled "Chicken 'N' Waffles", featuring a thick young woman shaking what some would call her "badonkadonk". This got me thinking about the objectification of women in popular media. Actually, it just reminded me of this XTube video I once encountered.

The video featured a self-proclaimed chub booty-popping to Lil Jon's "Get Low". It was so oddly hypnotic that I had to watch his other dances to Destiny's Child's "T-Shirt" and Jamie Foxx's "Unpredictable". One of my female friends was terrified when I made her watch the former. This week we highlight the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod (ASGCC). ASGCC does some great work for the GLBT community in Cape Cod, Massachussetts and this year they've organized an 5K Run/Beach Walk in memory of Ron Henderson, who passed away this winter. In their own words:

"The AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod covers over 500 square miles and serves over 100,000 people a year through prevention & education, counseling & testing, needle exchange and direct service to individuals and families infected and affected by AIDS."

Even if the weather hasn’t been very cooperative this year, summertime is made for going to the beach, hiking, fishing and various outdoor activities. It’s also a perfect time for having sex in or by the pool. Have any of you ever done it? Considering that I’m kind of a huge slut, I’ve done it a few times. Let me tell you about one of them…
