CNN is talking about the struggle gay men face in Iraq. Gay and transgendered people in Iraq face murder, torture and prison at the hands of the government as well as their own families.
Doesn't this sort of story make you feel grateful for what we do have? Hate crimes happen in the U.S as well but clearly it's not even close to what Iraqi's face. Hopefully CNN keeps the coverage on this going…

I wish there was a way I could do something to help. But in all honesty, all you can do is send your prayers at this point. Times have to change, but the whole world won’t change overnight, if at all.
Yea that is a very sad story. We really should just keep them in our prayers and hope they live safely in there community.
