Jay-Z, Young Forever, Mr. Hudson, music, new single

After the success of his most recent single "Empire State of Mind", Jay-Z's gearing up for another hit with his fourth offering from The Blueprint 3. "Young Forever" features British pop artist Mr. Hudson singing a hook based on Alphaville's 1984 hit "Forever Young". And as much as I love Mr. Carter, I'm seriously going to rip my ears off if I have to hear this for the next couple of months.

I'm not the hugest fan of sampling as a whole, but I'll admit that there are exceptions to this rule. This isn't one of them. In fact, I'd say this is one of the worst songs on The Blueprint 3, an obvious attempt to appeal to the "drunk sorority girl" demographic. Maybe Hova will do us a favor and turn out some real hip-hop for the fifth single? Just sayin'.

I agree, not the best song on the cd but not terrible.
