You can mitigate it by dressing well, working out, and just being generally charming. Fat? 100% your fault. The level of fat tolerance in our culture blows me away. I don’t understand why any fat person anywhere has a job. Do you for one second think about people who have absolutely no control over their weight. I know many people like this. A couple eat nothing but raw vegetables and still are for the lack of a better word…huge. I also happen to be one of these people. My weight fluctuates depending on the amount of stress in my life. So actually during holidays it goes down, but let someone get sick or die and my weight goes sky high and no i’m not an emotional eater. I don’t know makes people think that being thin is in, honey it’s not. I actually get sick sometimes when i see some of you. Especially the men in jeans made specifically for a woman that a size 0 or less. Get over yourself. As a 30 year-old guy I understand everyone having a point of view as to what they find sexy or not. I grew up in the midwest farm country and for me I like my guys to be built in a manner that does not make me worry I might break them, and I like guys that are into guy things – sports, camping, ect. However, I do not bash against “fems” or “twinks” for being who they are. Are they attractive to me personally? NO, but hey neither are all of us farm boys turned college football players attractive to the rest of the community.
Yes being over weight can be looked at as being lazy, but hell I know people who can not lose weight no matter what, just like we all know those guys that can eat McDonalds, chocolate, pasta, bread and every form of junk food all day long and never work out and still have a good body – “BTW-these people do make me a little crazy”. I have to work for the body I have and wish it was easier – it is not perfect and I will not be on the cover of MENS HEALTH, I will not weigh 160 pounds, but I will live to be old, happy, and healthy. So the ignorant statements of you are fat cause you are lazy is dumb, make a better argument – try focusing on why we are not given the rights we want as a community cause we are a bunch of self-hating fags and queers and would rather bash each other than have anything nice to say about the rest of the group that is not exactly like us or what we find attractive.

I am appalled at all the name calling hate and bitchy remarks here! So what, I’m not into people because they are heavier, not personally, but because fat is a turn off for me. There are chubby chasers, and they chase it cause they like it. I will still talk to anyone, and have always thought that a good looking face can make up for a.. “not good looking body.” I know there are people that literally cannot lose weight, and some people use this as an excuse. I’m in the opposite boat, I work out, out eat most of my friends, and have mantained 155 for the last 3 years. No matter what I do I cannot seem to gain weight.
I am a “straight act..” No nevermind. I act like ME. I have feminine tendencies, and masculine. I however, am not turned on by feminine guys. I won’t turn them down for discussion, but for some reason something just turns me off. Maybe it is that I don’t fit the stereotype and don’t think I like people who push it too far. I’ve always thought if I wanted to be with a person who is feminine, I’d date a woman (beyonce in particular ;P ). Getting personal and making assumptions about how someone looks based on what they say is so fucking pathetic and I’m very dissapointed in the people that use this site now.

Lung Cancer is (in most cases) caused by people smoking all their lives, yet it is called a disease. Why is it that people who overeat (in most cases) are not given the same respect.
There are people who get Lung Cancer and have never smoked. There are people who are overweight that do not overeat. But the latter are rarely given that benefit of the doubt.
While I have used the example of Lung Cancer, there are many other ‘self inflicted’ diseases out there. To deny weight gain the same class is appalling.
Frankly, this hatred of ‘fat’ people mirrors the hatred of anyone different from yourself – racism, homophobia, etc.
My personal opinion is the real haters are more upset with themselves, but don’t have the guts (no pun intended) to sort out their own issues.
Lets try and be nice for a change. Especially here, where too many people seem compelled to comment on every perceived negative aspect of every article. We celebrate “Pride Day” because we want to be proud of who we are – not just for being gay, but for who we want to love, date, have sex with and who we want to be. so with all this hate in the comments (i’m not sure why i’d be shocked when people hate on the models on here too for being too skinny, too fat whatever! lol) I just wanna say there’s a balance that each individual person has to find within himself. I’m a big dude but its because I like to eat lol. I’m active, athletic whatever, I was a college athlete, but I also loved my mcdonalds.
Could I be skinny with a 32 inch waste – probably but I’d also be real angry because I can’t have my cheeseburger. So there’s a balance. Oh, and I’m gonna be honest and say that being obese is a lifestyle thing. If you’ve been to any other country, even Canada, you see much less obesity. How so? USA is even an immigrant country! Or maybe, just maybe, it’s because all the restaurant servings are twice as big as they were 50 years ago, and most kids grow up on fries, cheese and candies? My sister tried and tired to lose weight, dieting, working out for years and nothing worked. She went to her doctor last year and the doc told her, she has an under active thyroid which is why she couldn’t lose weight and she’s fucking beautiful before she lost her weight and she still is.
Coming from someone that has an over active thyroid I’m unable to put on weight without the help of constant pills and also I workout but the moment I stop I instantly loose the muscle I’ve put on, so I continuously get they label of being a “twink”. So be it, it’s a label it doesn’t bother me. I have more hair on my body than most porn stars and I’m proud of it. I have my “flaming queen” moments but I also have my “st8 acting” moments, but when it all comes down to it, I have my ME moment, I am who I am, and nothing anything bitching person say is going to change that.
My point is with this website, who the fuck are they to say who’s beautiful. Yes everyone has different taste and to which makes everyone beautiful in someone else eyes.
