What do these four men have in common? It may not seem like much! One of them is an author, and another is a hardcore porn star. A few of them prefer women, while a few others may prefer men. So I ask yet again–what similarities could these men possibly share? They are all transgender men. And until recently, very little research had been done on the sexual health of them and their partners.

The University of Minnesota is conducting an online survey for non-trans men who have sex with transgender men, in order to "develop an online intervention to prevent the spread of HIV and promote the sexual health of transgender people and their partners."

I went to high school with this butch girl and ran into her as a boy with a ripped body and I was actually turned on by him. He made a much better boy than a girl. He seemed really comfortable and happy.

Ok. Is it me or is the term ‘transgender’ being confused with the term ‘transsexual’?

I’m glad to see this survey. I am a transman, and in my work, one of the workshops I present is on this very subject. It will be helpful to see the results published from this survey. There is not enough published information out there yet.
