One of my favorite comics…could be good or disaster. Mostly likely it will be disaster unless special effects and art direction are incredible. Either way, I’d have to tune in to see.

I’m actually quite confident Neil Gaiman will be part of the production team. “Neverwhere” (one of my personal favourites) started off as a series for the BBC.
If I remember correctly, the book is a collection of all the stuff that wasn’t allowed in the series.

I can see this work on premium cable like HBO, Showtime, or Starz. If they try to put it on CW or Fox or one of the broadcast/basic cable network, it’s going to be a DOA piece of s-it. Gaiman need to be extremely cautious. Look at how Alan Moore got screwed over and over.

HBO already passed on it, so it’s likely to be a regular network. On the other hand, Moore’s troubles were based in the contract he signed with DC; Gaiman has much more control over his material than Moore did. I’m reserving judgment, but I’d rather it wasn’t done than that it was done poorly.

Well if Eric Kripke is involved in any way that is a plus. I LOVE Supernatural! How come Sam and Dean haven’t been on here yet?

AMC has been proving themselves to be quite a powerhouse in television with shows like “Madmen” and “Breaking Bad,” but there’s no way WB will air it. They should develop it, but find a really good distributor to air it.

Wait, I actually loved the Stardust movie, even more than the novel and the earlier shorter version with pictures. Plus there was hella gay friendly subtext aside from the attractive male cast.

And I sorta dig Stephen Merrit but never got to see the Coraline musical with a 50 year old playing the preteen. Or the Other Mother in drag.

Wash your mouth out. Stardust is brilliant. It strengthened the narrative of the book into something even more powerful and dramatic.

A Sandman series… could be done right… we hope?

Aw man, I hope they don’t mess it up. I absolutely love the Sandman Series

I would only be interested if he wrote the scripts. I am also looking forward to his episode in Series 6 of Doctor Who
