Aural Only: Kelis

The last time Kelis appeared on our Weekly Top Ten charts, she spent a total of four weeks in the number one spot. This was especially impressive, considering that “Scream” was going up against such worthy competitors as Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and the Scissor Sisters.

Alas, it looks like the eclectic pop diva will be battling against Ms. Minogue for a second time! Kelis just unveiled the music video for her fourth single “Brave”, a simple clip directed by fashion photographer Rankin. Thanks to a thumping dance beat by Italian DJ Benny Benassi, this could easily provide some competition for “Better Than Today”.
