Gay Porn For The Hopeless Romantic
03 November 2010

There’s a reason Manhunt allows users to mark that they’re into an “LTR” or “Dating”. We’re not all looking for a random piece of ass, and it’s entirely possible to find true love on the internet. Don’t believe us? Well, we’ve got a story that might change your mind…

A while back, our team received a request for the specific date one member unlocked his pics for another guy. He met his partner through Manhunt, fell in love, and they plan on getting married in the very near future. His plan is to engrave the date they first “saw” one another into their wedding rings.

If that’s not enough for you, check out Kevin Richberg‘s 30 Dates project. According to Richberg, he utilized Manhunt to book dates for the experiment, which followed him as he visited thirty cities in thirty days to venture out on thirty dates. He recently wrapped up the project with a surprise thirty-first date, flying out to China to fully reflect on the people he met through the process.

Last but not least, let’s talk about Fuck Yeah Gay Couples. While the majority of Tumblr is full of ridiculous memes and explicit photos, someone went out of their way to dedicate a site to the celebration of gay love. Sure, it’s ran by two women, and several of the images aren’t actually gay couples. But it’s the thought that counts! Romance is so hot right now, eh?

I’m usually not a fan of pictures of “real” people on this site, but I have to say, these shots are beautiful – they are so much more compelling than any staged porno-style shot with perfect models. Thanks for posting.

  • Olly

    Very cute photo’s!

Hubby and I met in the pre-internet days on a local computer bulletin board named “28 Barbary Lane” in 1991/1992. Been together ever since.

Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. :)

  • DAK1975

My boyfriend & I met here on Manhunt. We’ll be together for a year next month.

These photos are all incredibly sexy and very romantic, they should not be called, ‘porn’, since it’s not going for sexual gratification.

  • Andy

I met my boyfriend on MH too! only 3 months but it’s great!

  • Travis

my boyfriend and i met online…not manhunt but same idea. just passed 13 months, still going strong. I’m pretty sure we’ve re-created all of the bathtub and kitchen scenes too, haha

  • Randall

I’d be nice if pictures like these were spread around, instead of those dreadful “slutfest” or whatever it was called, pictures.

  • Ozwog

    cute as!

  • Sam

Absolutely love these, why can’t more of the blogs contain picture sets like these?

  • Tom

Is it wrong that I covet all the guys in these pics? I so want this yet I sit here alone with my only love, my Mac.

  • Tommy

Aww, I love this. Especially the pic of the one guy playing the guitar and the other loving it.

Colton, aww! If you’re anywhere around tx you can come to my wedding, there will be plenty of handsome single guys!

In the last tub pic, is that the same guy or two different guys? Or twins? Or am I blind?

  • artsofboston

    Liked this very much.

Me and my husban met three years ago in an internet dating site. It’s funny, at the time I ha gone through a string of bad dates and one night stands and was the subject of an an intervention from my friends from my concerned friends who were concerned that the endless stream of no string sex was making me unhappy ( it can work for other people, and I respect/envy that, but it didn’t work for me).

I agreed to slow down, but still had one date booked that I decided to honour. After all, i said to my friends, its just a visit to the British Museum because the guy is new in town. What could be the harm in that?

Three years later we are married and looking for a house to buy. Thank you, thank you, thank you manhunt and other dating sites lik it. It did not only show me the person I love, but it showed me how to apppreciate it and to be able to tell it apart from something more casual:-)

  • Josh

it’s boyfriend season. i should get on that.. lol

  • Anthony S.

@Colton, there’s nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, I’m in the same situation. I’m out there looking, but haven’t found anything yet. I’m still holding on, though. We’ll find that special someone eventually, online or not.

To all of you who are celebrating anniversaries, or have simply found that special someone, congratulations. I wish you all the best. :)

  • http://musicis1ife.tumblr.com Andrew

I love fuckyeahgaycouples. I follow them religiously. I love all their posts. And both the girls are just awesome.

  • rowin

Chin up Colton, Anthony S and my particular friend ToddM. It can and will happen!
Usually when you are NOT looking for it and definitely when you least expect it. I met my love the old fashioned way: at a club! :-)

Mark was in town on business [he’s Australian] and I NEVER go clubbing on my own but that particular night I couldn’t fall asleep so I got up had a quick shower and hit the town shortly after 01:30.

I wasn’t in the club for more than 10-minutes, making the rounds, checking the scene and hoping to run into somebody I knew, when I walked passed this gorgeous blue-eyed, silver blond surfer type with an amazing athletic physique. Our eyes met, I walked on then turned around for a second look just when he did the same. We smiled, he came over introduced himself and we started talking. Five years and 9 months later we are a couple living together, still talking up a storm and very much in love.

  • Island guy

The British Museum was the site for my first date, too, with the man whose looks make my knees go weak and my stomach turn somersaults. We are not an item yet, getting to know each other slowly, but MH was instrumental too.

  • Jose

OK this post slightly depressed me.
    Sigh.

  • Jose

OK this post slightly depressed me.
I met this awesome guy here too but due to technical reasons things can’t move forward and I’m once again some sort of tragic romantic hero always giving up the guy he loves for a larger cause. Sometimes I feel very Bogie in “Casablanca” but lately I’ve had enough of that and what the whole Disney thing!
    Sigh.

  • Ian

    Favorite. Post. Ever.

  • tallcowboy

I like it all! I try to say all that in my profile; i have had it before, so i know its possible. Looking forward to it happening again!!

  • http://www.manhunt.net/externalProfile/cam7246 ToddM

Wow, rowin! Love your story! I’ve never been into the bar scene (only have been to one and it was when I was on a trip). Maybe I should give that a try! ;)

  • http://deleted Pudding

Love this post. Makes me have a little more faith in humanity.

  • Iain

I love this…gives me those warm and fuzzy feelings…haha

i like that it’s two women who compile these pictures.

that’s just so typical: it’s probably “porn” for them, and other adult females.

    l.o.l.

(since these images encapsulate moments that are so ‘romantical’/'idyllic,’ and all.)

i was pretty happy, snuggled up with my own Papa Bear, earlier this morning — we probably looked winsome together, sleeping blissfully like we did, too.

that one photo of the bathing couple is funny and cute: i can appreciate the humour’us look of Disapproving Horror on the one bloake’s face, while the other, (in full diva mode), obliviously scrubs his feet, nonchalantly wearing his pink shower cap, with the beauty cream over his face.

Beautiful! I love, love this post!
