Meet Richard. He’s a cute Canadian homosexual who has tried every supposedly “gay” activity, and just doesn’t feel like he fits in. So he joined Toronto Gay Rugby, and found out that those sexy scrums are where he belongs!

Here’s a cute vid that the team made about how hot rugby is. That’s probably not supposed to be the gist, but I have straight friends who played rugby in college. I went to a couple of their games, and I won’t lie – I was boned. Sticking your head between other dudes’ legs, hoisting guys up by their asses, and short shorts are a required part of the sport. Everyone is beefy, and hairy, and they tend to get changed right there on the sidelines. Richard has the right idea.

I have to say, I like most the stuff on the site but thats just shite, I fancy myself a rugby player and I’m a bit insulted to be honest, makes a joke out of gay rugby players, no wonder we cant be taken seriously.

Thats just my thoughts, maybe I’m overreacting, who knows

Unless they do things differently up north, we’ve been fighting for acceptance and against stereotypes for a long time and that just set us back twenty years. Cute, but pitiful.

As far as I can see the idea behind the promo is a tongue-in-cheek endeavor to gather attention/ publicity for the Toronto Gay Rugby team. As such they’ve succeeded!

One of the sad things in the world is people who don’t have the ability to laugh at themselves. Then again some of the comments were extremely hilarious: Legend Rivera Jr. wants to “Gay-bash himself” I’d love to witness that How does one go about executing such a feat?

I’ve been around gay & straight rugby my whole life and I can tell you right now most ruggers have a sense of humour and know how to laugh at themselves. This was not meant to be taken seriously and it’s doing a great job promoting gay rugby.
