Usher Will Make You “Climax”

For the first time in years, Usher has finally released a single that’s as sexy as he is. The song in question, “Climax”, was produced by former M.I.A. collaborator Diplo, and it successfully makes up for Mr. Raymond’s recent string of formulaic dance tracks and, well, the fact that he’s responsible for foisting Justin Bieber onto the world.

Strangely enough, the most beautiful thing about “Climax” is the complete and utter lack of a musical climax. Usher showcases his falsetto atop a slow-moving electro groove, devoid of any euro-house beats or dubstep breakdowns. Long story short? This track is flaw-free, grown, sexy, and I really don’t want to hear anyone saying otherwise.
