    Porn is a vice, and just like cigarettes, alcohol, and gambling there’s an assumption that the consumers are going to be legal adults with a basic understanding of the consequences. In the case of porn, the assumption is that a normal functioning adult can make the clear distinction between the fantasy they see on screen and reality.

    I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure your hypothetical son’s violation of the manhunt terms of service by lying about his age in order to access the site would shield them from liability. if platform owners were held legally responsible for everything that their users did on their sites, there would be no Internet.
