The “Real Man” Project: Seth Knight

These responses to The “Real Man” Project just keep on surprising me! Today, we have Cocky Boys‘ exclusive model Seth Knight (who can be seen in action here, here or here) sharing his view on what it takes to be a “real man”.

He argues in favor of internal qualities over physical attributes, and while that in itself isn’t all too shocking, Seth’s example of the “ultimate real man” made us look twice! I mean, was he even alive in the ’80s? Is it possible that Seth is secretly forty years-old and maintains his youthful image by bathing in the semen of Brent Corrigan? Or is it possible—AUDIBLE GASP—that twinks actually know things?

The world may never know. But at least we’ll (soon) be able to have sex with Seth whenever we want.

Click through to find out how Seth Knight defines a “real man”:

Most people think a “Real Man” is someone who’s straight-acting, muscular, butch, etc… To me, a “Real Man” has nothing to do with physical qualities at all. A “Real Man” can come in many forms, like a drag queen, transvestite, twink, twunk, bear, straight, bi, etc.

The internal qualities are what define a man as a “Real Man”. To me, this is someone who respects everyone’s opinions. Someone who hold his values and morals even when faced in troubled times. Someone who does not lie, steal or cheat to get ahead in life.  Someone who is comfortable in his own skin and not afraid to show others. Someone who leads, rather than following what society says is acceptable.

I think there are many “Real Men” all around us, but the one I think of the most is Ryan White.

Most people have heard the name but may not know the whole story. Ryan White was a  teenager from Indiana who became infected with HIV from a contaminated blood treatment in December 1984. Doctors announced he only had six months to live and posed no risk to other students.

However, since HIV was not understood at the time, he was banned from his school. He fought a lengthy battle against the school system and public education. Ryan surprised everyone by living 5 years longer, but died in April 1990, one month prior to his graduation from high school.

Ryan White is a legend, the definition of a “Real Man”. When faced with hard times, he did not give up on his beliefs and life. He found until the end and never backed down. To him, giving up was not an option. He brought light onto an important issue that effects the whole world. Not just gays, but everyone.

When I read comments like this I invariably ask myself why o why we fought for a great number of years, and its still continuing, for freedom of so many things. There is too many to name but speech, thought and NON DISCRIMINATION is some of them. If you don't agree with someone you are not expected to respect the viewpoint but you have to respect the individual that has the freedom to think for himself. To disrespect and even ridicule someone because he is much younger than you, and possibly have a better insight than you is rude and abnoxious and simply wrong. Live your own life and leave others alone for this practice can so easily lead to you becoming a sad an bitter individual. By the way I think for his age he has definition of a real man pretty much sorted! Also note the purpose of the project is to get different opinions of a real man, see a previous comment.

Oh no..”real man”…REALLY? He looks like he is about 10 years old! Manhunt get a clue!

  • David

When you announced the “Real Man” project I had a little hope that you would feature REAL MEN, not more porn models. Silly me, I lost my head there for a moment.

  • BrandonParker

    Err…read the article!!

  • Envuelo

You’d been ranting about the guy and now you include him in this post? It doesn’t matter that you’ve edited the post in http://manhuntdaily.com/2012/07/caption-this-three-buddies/, isn’t it wrong to pretend this guy’s great when you’d called him a bitter cunt?

  • Cabrov

    “real”? “man”?
Wtf. Looks like jailbait in most countries. That is a BOY…..

  • RavelTrouser

Just cuz you have a dick, doesn’t mean you should be one.

  • Dave

I agree with you, Ilg, and this is but one example why I refuse to buy a premium membership to this site.  I am sick and tired of the attitude that you have to be fifteen (or look like you are) to be desirable.  People lie about their age on here all the time, like growing older is something to be ashamed about.  I am FIFTY.  I have GREY HAIR.  I don’t use BOTOX, and my life is just fine, thank you very much.

  • Msclngood

Ahhh the proverbial limits between editorial and advertising have been once again thrown out the window.
Forget “infotainment”, the new kid on the block is “advertorial”!
    Burp!

  • Harperblake

This guy does not wear his tattoos, rather his tattoos wear him.

They are too distracting & work against him.

  • Rob

Agreed, and a great way of expressing it. I generally like the look of tattoos but half sleeve tattoos really only look good on rugby players and Polynesians (huge generalisation I know!), definitely not on twinky boys with no muscle size or definition – I hope he doesn’t live to regret them.

  • Rivercitybear

obviously people don’t read they only want to look at pictures.   I like this young man’s definition of what a real man is.

I think that perhaps Dewitt posted this on account that he liked what he had to say, it is possible to dislike a person and to then agree with one of their viewpoints. I do agree he physically doesn’t look like my type but perhaps he fits in with his definition of a real man.

  • Mathiash

Judging from the comments some people seem to think that ageism is limited to discrimination against older men by younger men. Learn something new every day.

  • Blackhunk33

What?  Real man??  Check him for pablum breath.

  • Dave

Not true, older men discriminate against OTHER OLDER men just as much as younger men discriminate against older men.  Or have you never seen an ad on MH from someone in his 40s or 50s that says “no one over 30”?

  • Septimus67

Although experience should have taught me otherwise, I am still occasionally taken aback by just how stupid most people are. I refer to the commenters, not Seth Knight. Is it really so hard to understand that Manhunt is asking these people what they consider to be a “real man” rather than posting pics of what Manhunt considers to be “real men”?

  • Whithawk

“Seth Knight” makes a living misrepresenting and suppressing male sexuality to push that condomized crap he thinks is porn. “Manhunt” is hypocritical to have the word in its name, if it thinks this  Benedict Arnold should be consulted  on what it means to be a man.

  • Lostinmyhead

So you focus on one post manhunt makes as justification not to buy a membership.  I like how you choose to ignore they started the “real man project” with Dolan Wolf, a greying, botox free model.  It amazes me how people will use anything they can just to complain.  I bet you’ve never made positive comment when manhunt does post the men you like.

I like that manhunt actually has a good variety of models and hope that they continue do so rather than adhere to one member’s narrow minded opinion that they should only post what he finds attractive.

  • Lostinmyhead

Considering how many times they’ve had to ask members to submit to the manhunt member of the week, they would be severely lacking in participants.  You should enter your own definition and be featured as a special guest.

  • Lostinmyhead

Thankyou, here is this guy who gave an articulate, insightful response and everyone immediately dismissed him just because of his age.

  • RavelTrouser

    yeah, its a little disheartening.

  • RavelTrouser

Ah, you’re one of the rabid anti condomers.  You don’t really make any sense.

  • I like his answer. And even if I am not sexually attracted to boys who look fifteen, from a mere aesthetic standpoint the kid is pretty sightly.

  • Vegaslamb

maybe you should also read the article instead of just exploding your jism of ignorance all over your keyboard.

  • Darson256

You know you really need to buy some new material. That pablum shit has gotten really old really fast.  And PABLUM??   How old are you really?  Do they even still make pablum anymore?

  • It goes both ways.

I’m only 21, but already, I’m hesitant to be with an 18 year old. I don’t understand how they’re desirable to someone older. They’re at such a different point in their lives that there’s so little in common. They’re still grasping onto anything to find themselves because, generally, they don’t even know where to look.

  • SoYo

    Can’t tell if trolling…

  • SoYo

I would say that they misunderstood the point of the article, but it would appear they stopped reading after the title.

  • Jeremy S

Maybe they’re looking for a mentor to show them the way, and not just a quick roll in the sack.  Just sayin’…

  • Commenter

Ditto from me, Cody. Based on his answers, it seems there is something of substance inside that man-boy body of his. I was particularly impressed by his choice of Ryan White as someone to look up to.

And if you’re reading this, Seth, keep on making those “condomized” videos, OK? I’m guessing you know this already, but real men care about the consequences of their actions.

  • Jorge

    ”’BRAVE”’

  • Mcloser than u think

Seriously r y’all all crazy. They didn’t pic a real man to tell u what a real man is. They asked many diff ages and sizes of what a real man is. Alls y’all r doing is being a bully hateing .. I thought we all supported each other in the gay community. A lot of y’all are wrong for the stuff u say. Y’all need to look in the mirror. Alls he did was tell his opinion of what a real man is. And I believe he is a real man. He is a hard worker..and is Doing a lot in his life. Grow up.
