“Just Give Me A Reason” brings together the power of two pop music mega-forces with annoyingly stylized names. The song appears on Pink‘s (or, excuse me, P!nk‘s) sixth studio album The Truth About Love, and now, it acts as the follow-up to her most recent radio hits “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and “Try“.
Guest vocals are provided by Nate Ruess of Fun (or, excuse me, fun.), also known as the band that your ears can’t escape because they are playing everywhere you go, and gosh, why do people like them so much, and am I normal or a huge snob if I intensely despise the quality of his voice, knowing full well that I may be unreasonable in thinking this, and it’s somehow ruined a song by one of my favorite pop artists?!?!? <— Apologies for this almost nonsensical run-on sentence. I have a lot of feelings today.
