So, uh, have you ever had an affair?

To make things easier, let’s eliminate one-time flings with married men from the equation—because who hasn’t done that—and define an affair as an ongoing (or moderately ongoing) physical connection in which one, or both, of the parties involved has a longstanding monogamous commitment.

I for-see heated debates in the near future… I’ll just say that I have not, nor will I ever, because it’s happened to me before and it doesn’t feel good. Therefore, I couldn’t do it to someone else.

I certainly understand having an affair as I am married and have had an affair with another woman and also with a man. Both were wonderful experiences that i wouldn’t trade for anything.

this is why I stay single I could never committ to one guy at this point in my life. I am very honest with people about it. I tell guys right up front friends with benefits is all I am good for at least at this stage of the game. If they are looking for love I am not the guy.

I have had an affair or maybe a FWB with a hot Brazilian guy, that is married, for a couple of years now. I used to be married too. To a woman. She also was having an affair for a couple of years, so I felt some freedom to do so myself. The thing that is weird about my Brazilian guy is that I am almost exclusively top, But I really like to bottom for him and only him.

i was married (to a woman), he was married (to a woman) and he and i had the most incredible two year affair. The funny thing is that shortly after breaking up, we both got divorces and came out, but never got back together. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful 2 years in my life.

Not judging, but I’m not a fan of affairs. Open relationships are fine since both guys are aware of what’s going on, but cheating when in a monogamous relationship isn’t something I can get behind.

I have not, but have been cheated on, and, no, it doesn’t feel good. Not ALL gay men cheat, although I appear to be in the minority.

I have never been relationship orientated and everyone that I have ever been involved with knows I am not looking for a relationship and therefore nobody gets hurt however if I where to get involved it would have to be a true and honest relationship of two people committed to making the relationship work ..

came close when it was obvious the other guy wanted to sleep w/ me, but instead i waited until after the break-up. i wasn’t in love w/ my b/f anymore, but i wasn’t going to make him into a chump. i’ve been cheated on. it burns from the inside out.

You know, men will be men and sometimes the tempation (or weakness at the moment) is too much and one falters and they do something (like an affair) that even they would say they would never do. So here’s mine . . . .me & my long term partner moved from Los Angels to Phoenix, not knowing anyone. Very lonely,, but met a couple thru a gay neighbor. The four of us did social things together, but secretly I and one of the new couple started having a torrid sexual affair on the sly. We would arrange to go out shopping so our partners knew we were hanging out . . . but we would end up fucking & sucking at the most unusual places. We really enjoyed each other and could have become lovers if not for our spouses & our true love for them. Yes, we were dogs, but no one got hurt . . . and those sexual memories still make me cum. Eventually the couple moved away . . . . and we still exchange Christmas cards.:)

Do married men count? My only long term affair was with a married bi male for six years. I had once-and-dones with four guys in long-term monogamous gay relationships. All four called again but I never called them back.
