It Happened On Manhunt: Blast From The Past

Don’t be deceived by Micky and Jackson‘s pleasant demeanor in the picture above. In today’s installment of It Happened On Manhunt, the “blast from the past” isn’t immediately well-received. There’s deep history between our storyteller and his old friend, and it’s the kind of history where they were never necessarily old “friends”. They kind of hated one another with a passion.

Did those feelings dissolve when they reunited face to face? Keep reading to find out!

One night, my friends and I decided to take a trip to a college town about an hour away from me, to go to a party with some friends who live up there. I decided to check out the guys in the area on Manhunt before we left. There was one in particular who caught my eye. At this point, I was in a hurry, so I sent him a quick message with my email address and told him to hit me up if he got the message before tomorrow night. He didn’t have a face picture, but from what I could see, he was just my type—fratty and athletic.

We got to my friend’s house and started the drinking. As I’m playing beer pong, I hear my iPhone’s email sound go off. Sure enough, it was him asking if I made it up there tonight. I quickly responded, to tell him that I did and let him know where I was partying. Turns out, he wasn’t too far away from me at this point.

We kept emailing back and forth, and I asked him where he’s from originally. Here comes one crazy part to this story. He was from my hometown. I started to think of who he could possibly be, because I had yet to see his face. Now I’m kind of nervous. What if we knew each other? I didn’t tell him where I was from, so I just got off that subject real fast.

Later, he asked if he can come meet me and maybe come have a few drinks. I didn’t respond right away, because all these thoughts were going through my head. Eventually, I told him where I was and invited him to come over, but I didn’t give him the exact address.

The neighborhood was large, and you could see every car that rides by easily. I thought I would just sit outside alone and see if maybe I could recognize his car when he drove around. I asked him to email me when he got inside of the neighborhood, and then I would tell him which house we were in. At this point, I didn’t want to give him my number, just in case he had mine and… Yeah, you know.

Anyways, now the story gets insane. I’m outside waiting for this email, and my phone buzzes. He’s in the neighborhood. The traffic is relatively calm at this point, so I know that it’s him when I see the car. I see headlights and see it’s an SUV. Then the make and model become clear, and I see his Half-Moon Outfitter rack covers. My heart drops. No way this is happening right now.

My high school ex-girlfriend’s (very hot) brother.

I know it’s him because, for one, he goes to school here, and his car is just unique. To give you some background on our past run-ins, they were not good. From the time me and this girl started to date, he would send me crazy Facebook messages telling me that he would kick my ass if I kept dating his sister. One night, when I attempted to sneak her out of the window, he found out… We got into a little scuffle in her front yard at two in the morning. Needless to say, we were pretty much enemies.

Now back to the story:

He drove past and sent me another email, asking if he could just call me and meet up at the house. At this point, I had no idea what to do or say. I told him to park by the pool, and I’d just walk down there, since it’s right near the house. I’d be able to see him perfectly from my vantage point.

He pulled in, turned off his lights and stepped out. Sure enough, it was him. My heart was pounding out of my chest, and I had no idea what to do. Do I go down there?

I decided to just say “screw it” and walk over there. The look on his face will be worth whatever happens.

As I get closer, he realized who I was and just stood there stone cold, not saying a word to me when we were face to face. I finally broke the silence with a, “Wasn’t expecting this, I guess” He followed up with a nice greeting of, “Usually when we’re this close to each other, we are swinging fists by now.”

I still couldn’t believe this was happening right now. I had always thought he was gorgeous when I would go to their house, and no matter how much I hated him, those good looks were not going anywhere. Now, the guy was standing right in front of me, and I knew he’s into guys too. This is insane.

I told him he’s welcome to leave, and I’d never say anything about this, would expect the same from him, and we could just leave it at that. Now here comes the really crazy part…

He grabbed my arm, shoved me up against his car and planted a huge kiss on me. I think I about passed out from the shock. He looked at me and said, “Damn, I’v never hated and wanted someone so bad in my life.” Am I really making out with him? This cannot be happening!

We continued to make out by his car. At this point, all of those hateful feelings were out the window. No matter how much either of us tried to deny it, we had always liked one another, and we both knew it.

He asked me if I wanted to ride somewhere and just talk for a bit, so we do. The weirdest part about this was that he was holding my hand the entire time, as if we had never had those horrible feelings toward each other. I’m on cloud nine at this point.

We ended up going to his apartment, because his roommate was out of town. We sat on the couch for a while, had a few beers and just talked about stuff. Then the awkward silence came. He leaned in once again for the kiss, and damn was it good! We just made out on the couch for a while, slowly taking our shirts off. His body was amazing, but I knew this already (considering he took it off when we were going at it in his front yard that time).

One thing led to another, and we sucked each other off and had a great time. Neither one of us were ready to bottom, so we left it at that. I was not complaining. This was the most insane night of my entire life! I’m now laying in the bed cuddled up to a person who I used to have so much hate for, to the point that if he got hit by a bus, I probably wouldn’t have shed a tear.

This all happened about a month ago ,and I have gone back every weekend since. This past Thursday, we were texting and talking about how we were gonna hang out this weekend. At the end of our conversation, when I said I would text him tomorrow when I left home, I got a reply with the following: “Sounds good. Oh, and by the way, I love you”.

  1. Yeah….amazing story…too bad if they did turn it into a porno they would completely ruin any genuine emotional moments between the two main characters..

  2. Awwww, I know its Story of the Week but can he keep updating. I’m interested to know where this leads.

Both are in the closet, right?

  3. Normally I would make some comment like “YUCK! BOO! HISS! LOVE – BLAH!!!”  but in this case it is actually really cute and maybe even melted my jaded heart a tiny bit.  (nthebuff)

  4. One month to say I love you after hating each other forever?
    Not sure if creepily hasty…
    or oddly sweet.

  5. Absolutely one of the better stories and not so out there like some,  You know the ones where you are reading and half way through you say “I saw this, its a LOGO or Bravo movie or something to that effect.”  or “I watched that same porno last night during my jerk-a-thon last night”.(nthebuff)

  6. Jackson is smoking hot, especially that shot of his backside! If I had him in a bathtub, we’d be wrinkled because I would never let him out. WOOF!!!

  7. IDK what the background with the ex girlfriend is in all of this, whether the author was sexual with her, but it could be kind of weird to be in a relationship where you can say “well your sister wasn’t this good at it”…

  8. great story……………wish mine had ended the same way, but this was before manhunt, before cell phones, before the internet.   it was kindergarten, i fell for a boy, could not put it into words.   i moved away with 3 months left i lost touch, then one night at a local club i literally ran into him, i was dumbfounded.   he had his letterman jacket on, and he asks me my name i reply, then he asked if i went to the same kindergarten at the same school i said yes.  he was slack jawed, as  much as i was.  i missed out on knowing him all those years, he was there with his b/f  saying good bye to friends as he was moving to chicago for a job(he and his b/f both).  he introduced me to his b/f, and i got was’ finally i get to meet the ‘ghost’ i have had to live up to all theses last few years’    i was both sad and happy, real puppy love at 6………….

  9. Damn, that story made me feel like I missed out on something in life. I love the hate turning to love thing, always makes for the best passion. And saying I love you after four weeks and given their history which obviously they had it for each other from the begining is not inappropriate or too soon. Yes witty, I wanna know how they are doing, I can honestly say that this is the best it hap on MH story I ve read yet. usually the story is they meet up after years , fuck and then go back to their wives/husbands, this one sounds like there s more to come.
