Rumor has it that J. Harvey and I will be attending the 2012 Cybersocket Web Awards. Though we can’t be sure we’ll return with a phallic glass trophy that we can hold next to our penises, we’re going to try our best to awkwardly interact with some porn stars and industry folk. Then we will report back to you! And you will like it!

My biggest goal is to hang out with Conner Habib. I’m not even sure if he’s going, but I’ve got it in my head that we need to become friends IRL. We don’t even have to make a sex tape! We could just discuss things I’m too dumb to understand, while I carefully undress him with my eyes… Or he could just be naked, because (duh) Conner Habib is the Ryan Gosling of porn stars I want to meet for a naked lunch date.

Now that I’ve put that out there, let’s talk about today’s round of Aural Fixation. This isn’t an empty accusation. If will.i.am wins today’s round of Aural Fixation, we are going to cancel this feature. We could forgive you for voting for Cazwell and LMFAO. We’re still recovering from that time you voted for Chris Brown‘s “Wet The Bed”, a song that’s literally about soaking sheets with vagina juices.

But if you voted for a song that makes multiple references will.i.am’s penis? It would take things to a whole other level of awfulness. Make the right decision. Vote for Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha or DJ Shadow. Yes, I just encouraged you to vote for a song by Ke$ha. That’s how serious this is.

What was the point of this post?

Right! In order to find out how many of you would make the awful decision of fucking to Christmas music, we thought we’d place Buble’s entire holiday album against new tracks by Lana Del Rey, Mike Posner and The Voice‘s Dia Frampton. Honestly, all of these songs are terrible options for Aural Fixation, so good luck choosing one!

It feels like forever since our last installment of Aural Fixation. In reality, it’s only been two weeks, but WHATEVER! That’s classified as forever in internet time. Though we toyed with the idea of reemerging with another diva battle, that really just seemed like an excuse to post Beyoncé‘s uncomfortably hot “Dance For You” video.

Instead, we decided to spruce up your Wednesday morning with four throbbing dance tracks. Why? Because it’s the only genre that could ever be described as “throbbing”, and that seemed horribly appropriate for a series about music you’d fuck to.
