We’re hesitant to call Rick Day Manhunt Daily’s FAVORITE photographer (we feature the work of so many talented shutterbugs), but he’s definitely up there. Rick gets featured so often by us because he captures the hottest models in the hottest poses. The men he works with are breathtaking. He’s releasing a sequel to his Players book called, simply enough, Players 2.

Rick also tends to feature the top of a guy’s pubes, right before you get to the goods. It’s tantalizing as hell, and so evil of him. We love that.

Check out some of the pics and try not to worship Rick Day as a deity. He’s much too modest for that. He might like flowers, though, or a really hot rent boy sent to his studio.

Mike Ruiz has a new book showcasing his photography! It’s called Pretty Masculine and it’s chock full of glamorous hunk, all stylish and slick.

If you’re a fan of Mike’s work, pick it up. He might need the supplemental income now that he’s announced he will not be returning to The A-List: New York. Yes, even some of the cast members are realizing it’s just not worth being blamed for the destruction of any goodwill the planet has towards homosexuals.

Looking for a great summer read? Look no further. Apparently, you can’t get to a farm in upstate New York without meeting lots of colorful characters (and goldfish) along the way. You may not have heard the title but you probably know the author. Josh Kilmer-Purcell is half (in my opinion, the better half) of The Fabulous Beekman Boys. The book is a memoir about Josh’s life prior to Brent and the Beekman. Josh, a farm boy raised in Wisconsin, navigates his first year in NYC as an ad exec by day/performing drag queen by night.

The book is your classic boy (dressed in women’s clothing and a goldfish-bowl bra) meets boy (who has sex with boys for money) love story. The author colorfully illustrates his adventures as Aqua (short for Aquadisiac), the drag über socialite with a heart of gold and her relationship with Jack, a high-priced escort with a taste for crack. Peppered with lots of bizarre scenarios straight from the fantasies of Jack’s johns as well as Aqua’s hilarious take on life in NYC, worldly adventures and determination to have it all, the book is hard to put down. Enjoy!
