I’m into the Hunger Games thingy. Hey, it could be worse, it could be depressive vampires in love with mumbling girls. The trilogy about a sucky future world in which young people battle each other to the death for food has been read by millions, and you don’t have a young adult book trilogy without the requisite movie. The film version of the first book drops into the gladitorial arena in March.

Lions Gate Films just released the above still showing some of the main male characters in the movie. You’ve got one of Peeta (the heroine’s love interest) who’s played by Josh Hutcherson. Woody Harrelson is the drunken and bewigged Haymitch, who is Katniss’ coach. Rock’n'rolla Lenny Kravitz plays Cinna, the heroine Kat’s costumer and a character that I was SURE the film studio was going to make flamingly gay because movie executives are usually idiots but they seem to have chosen wisely here.

Let’s play “Fuck, Marry, Block” with Josh, Woody, and Lenny. I already know my answer. Damn, he’s dreamy. Wait, though, Woody supposedly has a huge cock. And Lenny is..well, Lenny. This might actually be hard! I guess we should take Woody’s wig into consideration.

I am taking the insane step of being in New York City on New Year’s Eve this year. Actually, if you’re a New Yorker and you’re in the vicinity of our new Times Square billboard on NYE day, come look for me! I’m doing man-on-the-street interviews to find out what people think of it!

Ryan Seacrest is celebrating 40 years of Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t prop the poor guy up this year, please?). Carson Daly is holding things down on NBC. And the lovely and talented Anderson Cooper (and fabulously mouthy sidekick Kathy Griffin) will be trying to keep the gay contained (for now) on CNN. Frankly, I’d take Kathy. Ooooooooh, we are STRETCHIN’ this holiday season to fulfill our Manhunt Daily feature requirements! Being a cunty Scrooge of the highest order, the only holiday movie I enjoy (besides Charlie Brown) is the George C. Scott-version of A Christmas Carol. Why? Because their version of Marley’s Ghost scared the ass off of me when I was a kid. Holy shite! And he unties his jaw and it drops open like in the book with a weird creaking sound? FUCK! I had nightmares! I cried over my presents that year because I was scared he was gonna show up with his boxes, chains, bandages and wide-eyed “shit sucks cuz’ I was a miserly dick when I was alive” stare to kill me!

Selfish, I know, but hey – you get to see more pics of these humpy bastards so everybody wins. My favorite feature on Manhunt Daily is undoubtedly “The Ten”. My subtle yet powerful co-blogger Dewitt pits ten smokeshow guys against each other in a fuckability contest and there can be only two for the win! It’s painful, nerve-wracking, and the guys are SO DAMN HOT. Anyway, this week’s contestants include my new favorite porn star (Sorry, Heath) Nick Sterling and his bubblicious ass, porn legend and permanent wank material Paul Wagner, and straight but not narrow gay rights activist and fitness guru Scott Herman.
