My refusal to write about “Give Me All Your Luvin’” had less to do with my ambivalence toward Madonna, and more to do with the fact that I only had one joke about it—”The inclusion of Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. feels, uh, superfluous (look it up).”

On top of that, I truly don’t feel any connection with the song. I don’t love it, and I don’t particularly hate it… It’s sort of just, uh, there?

I’m going to get shit for saying that, aren’t I? Sorry, Madge fans! I can’t force myself to L-U-V this track, much like the queen can’t force herself to L-U-V hydrangeas. Since I know all of you care SO much, here are ten somewhat recent songs that I do L-U… Oh, fuck it. I like them. I fucking like them, okay? That’s all.

That sound you hear is (what’s left of) my soul slowly unraveling, as I watch this atrociously annoying video of Ricky Martin on Glee. It’s also the sound of Ricky Martin performing LMFAO‘s “Sexy And I Know It”, a song that needs to die unless Samuel O’Toole is shaking his ass to it in front of me. <– This actually happened. Ugh, it was glorious. I almost died, and I had to fight my desire to take a sketchy picture.

Yeah, that’s pretty much all I have to say about this topic. When does Smash premiere? It’s going to be terrible and involve way too many “feelings”, but at least I can squeal like an idiot every time Anjelica Huston‘s on the screen.

Good news! The woofy man you see above, otherwise known as Drake Jensen, has recently announced that he’s openly gay. The Canadian country singer dedicated his new single “On My Way To Finding You” to Jamie Hubley, a gay teen who took his own life back in October… But don’t call it an “It Gets Better” anthem!

“People don’t realize what happens to you when you’re young, stays with you your whole life. You just learn how to deal with it… We need to stop saying, ‘Oh, it gets better’, because sometimes, what happens is, people think, ‘Oh my God, it’s gonna take me three or four, five years before [it gets better]‘. We need to start dealing with the subject now.”

Well said! The video for “On My Way To Finding You” features Drake’s real-life husband, which is probably a boner-kill for those of you who were drafting up your marriage proposals as soon as you saw the picture above. For the rest of us, it’s just plain adorable.

I’ve tried (and failed) to make my own videos go viral. It’s a tough science to figure out! No matter how many times you post something on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or various message boards, there’s no telling what people will latch onto and actively want to share.

However, this is one of those rare moments on Manhunt Daily where everything isn’t about me. In a truly selfless act, I would like to urge you to help me make Andrew Doriane‘s “She’s Like Gay” go viral. This is my best attempt at transcribing the lyrics:

“Breath of the ocean / Tranquil emotions / I’m feeling so safe in her arms / One thing is clear / Heaven is here / With her, I can reach for the stars / Looking at us / Somehow she’s like gay / I’ve always had this feeling / even deep inside / She has been playing gay so real that I believe it. Am I losing my mind?

I’ve listened to this eight times, and I still don’t know what it all means. Is he gay or straight? Is it a good thing or a bad thing that “she’s like gay”? Is this the best song I’ve ever heard? Yes. The answer to the last question is obviously “YES”. Please share with your friends so this can become the next “Dragostea din tei”.
