Dominic Cooper played Amanda Seyfried’s boyfriend in the film version of Mamma Mia!. THAT couldn’t have been a lark. Sure, you get to dance about in the Greek Islands and be around other dudes in bathing suits. But I think he’s straight, and Seyfried’s Sophie character was super-annoying. And imagine this – you’re stuck on an island with Pierce Brosnan singing! That guy can not sing! I’ve seen the flick like thirteen times (shut up) and his vocals get worse with each viewing! Why was he hired? Colin Firth should have been the lead. He was so good in A Single Man.

Anyway, I digress – back to Dominic.

Cooper is a little pocket cutie, and he stars in the violent-looking The Devil’s Double. He plays an Iraqi army lieutenant who is tasked with being Uday Hussein’s body double. That’s “Hussein” as in son of “Saddam.”  If you’ve read anything about the Hussein days, you know this wasn’t what you would call a fun assignment.

Dominic’s cute and all but I am in LOVE with the glam poster for the flick, which is why it made “Trailer Trash.” Shiny!

p.s. Does Dominic look a little like Tommy Defendi or am I delusional?

We already posted the trailer for Captain America, in which Chris Evans plays the iconic Marvel superhero. However, this isn’t just an excuse to post a fake nude of the (tragically hot) actor! The studio released a second trailer for the film, including a handful of brand new footage.

Our reaction can pretty much be summed up by this image. We’re not even sure why they bothered making Evans wear a costume, because the movie would have been far more marketable if he just ran around with his shirt off all the time. Seriously. They wouldn’t even need a plot. It could literally just be Chris Evans running around without a shirt for two hours.

Run, Tommy, Run! Yeah, they’re still making these. The trailer for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol dropped last week. Tom Cruise is still Ethan Hunt leading an ever-changing band of snarky spies in this, the fourth installment of the MI series. Remember how the first one made no sense? And the second one was a boring piece of shit? The third one was ok, probably because it was sort of Alias smashed into Grey’s Anatomy. This one is the live-action directorial debut of Pixar genius Brad Bird. So it might actually be rad.

In this one, someone blew up the Kremlin and the IMF team has to go rogue (again). Do any of these secret agent types ever get to stay in good standing with their bosses? Everyone’s always having to go off on their own and become hunted by the very organization that created them! Word is hot bitch Jeremy Renner is taking over for Tom after this one. Are Ethan Hunt’s flowing locks going to exit this plane of existence? I hope so. Watching him have no chemistry with women gets tiring.

Henry Cavill is going to be Superman. I know, right? As an appetizer, he’s also the lead in the upcoming Immortals. Think The Clash of the Titans remake but a little bit artier and with sexier visuals. Director Tarsem is the guy who gave us The Cell (if you ignored J.Lo and Vince Vaughn and the awful plot, it was at least a gorgeous looking flick) and the very underrated The Fall. Immortals has Henry going up against evil Mickey Rourke in a cramming together of every Greek myth ever. Musclebound Kellan Lutz is running around hurling spears in this movie as well. We’ve got a pic of him in a short skirt after the jump. We know, not clicking now is like leaving the last potato chip in the bag.

Sexy ass Colin Farrell is playing the vampire in the….three guesses what kind of movie it is…remake of 1985′s Fright Night. Colin is so hot that I could probably deal with a remake of Transformers if he was swaggering around in it with the brooding looks and the accent. It will probably be one of those flicks where I’m bored and praying for a Colin Farrell ass shot. Which won’t materialize because Hollywood is the worst.

Please note that it isn’t a good sign when the star introduces the flick to critics by saying he wouldn’t have the DVD of it on his shelf.
