Anderson Cooper: Real Life Action Hero?

No, Anderson Cooper hasn't decided to pursue a second job as the next action movie star. The photograph you see above is not staged or altered. While covering a story in Haiti, the news anchor and his crew heard gunshots being fired. They ran towards the scene, where Cooper witnessed a small boy getting hit in the head with a concrete block. Fearing for the boy's life, he swept the boy off the ground to a safer location.

Due to his hesitance to come out of the closet, the word "coward" has often been attached to Cooper. This action goes to show that he's anything but a coward. It took extreme bravery for this man to enter a dangerous situation to save another human's life. We knew there was another reason he gained that "silver fox" nickname...

Haiti Was Cursed By A Pact With The Devil

Pat Robertson has said some pretty ridiculous shit, but now he's taken crazy to new heights. Check out this video in which he tells the "true story" of the pact Haiti's made with the devil. According to him, it's clearly the reason that a 7.0 magnitude earthquake killed more than 100,000 individuals in the country's capital Port-au-Prince. 

Before you get too frustrated, how about making yourself feel better with a little goodwill? MSNBC has a full list of charitable organizations that are helping Haiti recover from this catastrophic disaster. Or you can simply text "HAITI" to "90999" and a donation of ten dollars will automatically given to the Red Cross for relief efforts, charged to your cell phone bill. It's times like these that we need to band together and help those in need!

Must Watch: Baby Gets Run Over by a Train and Survives

Ok, there are some stupid people out there. Seriously, didn't the mother of the baby realize that after the first time the wind moved the stroller that it would be a good idea to hold onto it? Well, she didn't and the wind blew the stroller off the platform and onto the tracks. A split second later, a train runs over the baby. Miraculously, her baby survives. I don't know who's luckier, the baby or me last night at the bar when I left with two hot guys. Hmmm... I'm thinking the baby.

Methinks The Lady Doth Protest Too Much

Who the hell would get a tattoo of Leviticus 18:22? Can't you just hate homosexuals without permanently declaring it on your arm? Apparently not, when you happen to be a friend of gay-basher Daniel Rodriguez. That same friend claims that Rodriguez's attack on Jack Price was justified because Price made sexual advances towards him.

Even if this were true, in what sick world is sending someone to the hospital with a fractured jaw, rib fractures and a lacerated spleen considered payback for blowing a kiss? I guess the same sick world where it seems completely sensible to tattoo "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination." on your arm...

Homoerotic Hazing Contractors Fired

Remember those maybe-gay, definitely homoerotic contractors I talked about? Yes, the ones who took shots off each other's butt cracks among other things. Well, not surprisingly they've all been fired.

Yahoo News reports, "Eight security guards at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan have been fired following allegations of lewd behavior and sexual misconduct at their living quarters, the embassy said Friday.

The Kabul senior management team of ArmorGroup North America, the private contractor that provides the guards for the State Department, is also 'being replaced immediately,' an embassy statement said."

While I can forgive them for their confused sexuality that resulted in drunken "exploring", we have to remember that these people were responsible for 1,000+ people's security. So good on the State Department for acting quickly, and may all sexually confused over the hill frat boys stay away from tax-payer dollars.

State Department Contractors In Trouble for Homoerotic Hazing

A group of security contractors at the U.S Embassy in Afghanistan are in a heap of trouble after photos of them doing all sorts of weirdly frat-like homoerotic hazing surfaced. You may wonder what this includes? Well, taking shots from each other's butt cracks, licking nipples and peeing on each other just to name a few.

I bet someone will use this as an excuse for why gay men shouldn't be allowed in the military, or something equally ridiculous. These guys are obviously a little confused about their sexuality and have formed an oppressive environment for those who don't want to participate in the debauchery. Did I mention they're supposed to be protecting over 1,000 people who live in the embassy?!

This is probably wrong, but anyone else think the guy bending over in the first picture below looks kind of hot? Aside from his gross irresponsibility, I'd totally do him!

Live Nation Cancels Buju Banton Shows

 

When Dewitt wrote about the offensive tour Live Nation was putting on featuring gay-murder proponent and Reggae artist Buju Banton, many said not giving the issue attention was the way to handle it. But now, Live Nation has canceled the tour and it's a win for speaking out and making noise!

I mean, the man talks about shooting gay men in the head and pouring acid on them. It's not the sort of thing you just ignore, especially if a mainstream concert promoter is putting their stamp of approval on it. I say, good for Live Nation!

Now there's another fight as AEG Live is still planning on bringing Banton for various U.S shows. I think we should let AEG feel the same heat Live Nation felt and then some...

Honey, I Just Chopped Off My Penis...

 

A man in Wales was so desperate to become a woman he took matters into his own hands... literally. He cut off his own penis in his bathroom after learning he'd have to wait two years for gender reassignment surgery.

Ouch! Just the thought gives me the chills. Roland Mery, a 61-year-old married father-of-four, lost nearly two pints of blood but luckily survived. Mery says, "I had worked out exactly how I would do it and rehearsed it many times... I had rehearsed the whole thing over and over. So when it came to actually doing it, the pain wasn’t an issue anymore. My priority was to just get rid of it all, but I obviously had to be very careful. When I was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital afterwards, the doctor told me I had actually done quite a good job!”

Well, as long as he researched and rehearsed it! I'm definitely kidding, giving yourself surgery sounds like the worst idea ever. Like... worse than this. Check out the full article here.

South African Runner... Man or Woman?

The story of South African runner Caster Semenya reminds me of the movie It's Pat where the gender of Pat is a mystery to everyone. After winning first place at the Track & Field World Championships, Caster's gender is now in question. Not only did she win gold, Caster blew away the competition. It also doesn't help that Caster looks like a dude--broad shoulders, bulging muscles, lack of boobs and man-face. Experts have begun an investigation on Caster's gender but it will take months for answers.

Ok, so it's going to take months to figure out if Caster has a va-jay-jay or a schlong? Hmmm... can't they just pull down her pants? But I guess if she had a penis she could have it surgically transformed into a vadge. Seriously though, there are plenty of manly looking women, for example Ru Paul... Oh wait, she's an actual man. Nevermind.

What do you guys think? Should they just leave her alone or continue with the investigation?

Lynette Fromme Paroled!

Almost 40 years ago to the day Charles Manson and his family killed at least 9 people and became the stuff of nightmares. Well one of the "family" members was released from prison today and many people think she should never have been paroled.

Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme was not a part of the murders, but attempted to assassinate President Ford in 1975. She became known to the nation because of seemingly innocuous appearance and girlish voice and demeanor. In other words, she was the last person anyone expected to attempt a Presidential assassination.

For those of you around back then I'm sure you remember it all quite clearly and for the rest, a video report above!

Anyways folks, she's free so if you see a squeaky red head anywhere near an elected official be on the lookout. And President Obama, make sure you never chop down a tree!
