Holy crap. I did not expect to wake up to this news. Corbin Fisher model Sean (real name, Matthew) has passed away in his early twenties, and the studio has set up a special memorial site in his honor. Much like past occurrences of this nature, it feels weird to write a post like this. What right do I have to be sad, as someone who didn’t know Sean at all?
I don’t know, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m fucking sad. Beyond the double penetration and bisexual threesomes, I’ve always been under the impression that Sean’s a good person. He had a certain warmth to him that you could feel with every smile toward the camera. As much as that sounds like complete bullshit, it’s one-hundred percent true. I’ve always felt like he’d be someone I could hang out with, and that isn’t always the case with most porn stars.
Alas, don’t take my word for it. Here’s what the studio had to say:
“In his year at Corbin Fisher, ‘Sean’ has had an enormous impact upon a great many of us – from the fans who knew him for this enthusiasm, charisma, and remarkable good looks, to his co-workers and fellow performers who knew him as a generous and selfless friend.
“We have been in contact with his family since he unexpectedly passed, and they have shared with us that Matthew often eagerly expressed to them how much his fans and admirers meant to him. He took great pride in his work with Corbin Fisher, and strove to make an impression upon you and make you happy with every performance. You were all a constant source of inspiration and motivation for him.”
We hate to do this for two posts in a row—albeit for very different reasons—but we’re going to close the comments here for a “moment of silence”. If you feel the need to express your condolences, you can shoot an e-mail to rememberingsean@corbinfisher.com with a few kind words. Allegedly, the studio will be forwarding your messages to his family.
