Mad scientists. Orgies. Drag queens. Gorillas. Extreme fisting. What do these five things have in common? They’re all incorporated in the 1974 (should be) classic Drive. The film combines hardcore gay sex with a plotline reminiscent of a 1950s sci-fi B-movie, all while making a strong statement about repression in the age of sexual liberation.
Also, did I mention that there’s a gorilla? Because there is.
Drive was actually taken into consideration for last week’s edition of Flashback Friday, until I decided it might be a little too strange for your delicate eyes. Then, after watching the trailer a second time, I came to the conclusion that everyone in the world should see this movie (and have an orgy with one another)… So, uh, watch the trailer! You will probably regret it (but in the best way possible).

Interesting. Porn was some how better back in the day. Granted most of us have been “brought up” around the cookie cutter, hairless twink porn ( I was 2 when this gem came out) and some of us will probably cut the guys in this flick down with a wave of their wands, or should I say wag of their tongues. But a least they tried back then. Both to bridge the gap between the outcasts and the mainstream, and to blur the line between what would classify as art and porn. I guess we no longer need social commentary with our cock and cum….. But it sure is fun.
uh wow didn’t know that did that back then…LOL …j/k

You forgot to mention the castration fetish…
Holy hell… I have to see this movie. And just *imagine* the MST3K treatment you could give it.
I was thinking the same thing just from the description! LOL
The men in that movie were hot!! I’d fuck them… i just need a time machine.
Well that was certainly…interesting. It’s one of those things that I feel like I want to watch the whole thing just because it is so different. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Dewitt.
