The Locker Room (Extra Edition): Robbie Grabarz

Now THAT is how you celebrate winning an Olympic medal. You get buck ass nekkid and take a picture. Damn flag. That’s Britain’s Robbie Grabarz. He won the bronze for high jumping on Tuesday. Look at the exuberance! Look at the joy of victory! Look at those LEGS.

One of the best things about the Olympic Games is that the athletes have worked their entire lives for their bodies and a number of them LOVE showing them off. Why can’t this be a yearly thing? Too expensive to mount on an annual basis? You can save money by eliminating extraneous nonsense like Mary Poppins on wires and Bob Costas.

  1. There are a medley of incredibly clever and vulgar high jump jokes one could make here …

  2. gonna be “that guy” to point this out, buuuuut – Using a flag like that could be considered profoundly offensive to those that have fought for it.

Having written that, I find it offensive because it’s covering up the goods.

  3. Not just to those who have fought for it. Treating a flag – anyone’s flag – like a towel is just profoundly disrespectful. (No, I’m not arguing it should be illegal; I’m just saying it’s something shouldn’t do.)

  4. You do know that at the original Olympics in ancient Greece the athletes competed naked. Perhaps that rule should be brought back for the Rio games.

  5. Britauin at it’s best, so proud of Team GB and being British. Would be very proud to be his boyfriend too, I just love those legs……

  6. Be careful, cowboy. Some folks here think we shouldn’t comment–or even be allowed to comment–about things we don’t like (e.g., unsafe sex and unsafe sex videos). Never mind that those who fought for this flag and the U.S. flag were fighting to defend freedom of expression as well as other freedoms.
