Do you like dance music that could best be described as “sparkly”? Well, good news! Swedish indie-pop darling Sally Shapiro has collaborated with Electric Youth (of Drive soundtrack fame) for the latest track from her upcoming album Somewhere Else.
The song goes by the name of “Starman”… And while I’m still on the fence about it—her vocals seem to work better on lighter first single “What Can I Do”—there’s no denying that this put some bounce into my Friday and got me ready for the weekend.

Lana Del Rey meets Pet Shop Boys…not that there’s anything wrong with that. I sort of like both these cuts.
Hey Dewitt…thanks for turning me on to Sally Shapiro. I checked out a lot of her stuff on iTunes and really like a lot of it.
