If you’ve never seen whiz kid Australian comedian Chris Lilley play Ja’mie King, you haven’t lived. Being a homo, I have numerous homo friends who can recite every Ja’mie King line from HBO’s Summer Heights High. Ja’mie King is a loathsome, self-obsessed Mean Girl, and she is everything.
Chris is bringing Ja’mie back in Ja’mie: Private School Girl for BBC3.
“I find teenage girls endlessly funny. So being able to write for and play the meanest bitch in school has been so fun,” Lilley said. “I can’t wait to show everyone what Ja’mie’s been up to.”
No premiere date is set as of yet, but it will air on HBO here in the States after it’s on BBC3. In the meantime, enjoy the best (so far) of Ja’mie King below.

Oh my glob yes. Ja’mie is so hilarious, Summer Heights High is funny as fuck. I’m glad they’re going with more Ja’mie, I love Jonah and Mr. H but they’ve both kind of… told what needs to have been told about them.

oh no, I think you missed the point. The jokes aren’t racist and ignorant, the characters are. They’re behaviour is funny because it’s ridiculous.
It’s satire. The second you take it seriously, you miss the entire point.
