It looks like The Sarah Silverman Program will be returning for a third season on the backs of the gay television network Logo. The show was facing cancellation as Comedy Central's budget dried up, but since the show features two gay characters, Logo gladly stepped up to save it. In return, they will get to air the program.
Some have questioned whether the gay characters on the show constitute a positive portrayal, or an ironic mocking of a gay relationship. What do others think of Logo's decision?

i’ve watched the sarah silverman show and first off i didn’t see anything that warranted $1.1 million an episode….
the show isn’t funny, it’s racist and ethnically insensitive…
why not scout new gay talent and create another gay show for the logo channel?
Sarah Silverman has no talent. From what little I have seen, though – mostly at friends houses – the portrayal of the gay characters on her show is semirealistic, neither overwhelmingly supportive nor offensively mocking – at least not consistently. It hardly warrants saving such a garbage program though.
