Kellogg's thought it would take the moral high road by cutting stoner Michael Phelps. But their decision to drop the Olympic swimmer has bitten them squarely in the bottom.
Plenty of potheads (and counterculture types in general) who loved their Kellog's Cornflakes have switched to bagels or eggs, or something.
Vanno, a company that charts Brand Reputation, notes that prior to dropping Phelps Kellogg's was ranked 9th (of 5600 major companies) but is now 83rd.
Food companies didn't even suffer that bad when people started dying from tainted peanut butter.

That’s what they get and deserve! I’m from Michigan, and won’t buy their brand anymore until they extend another contract or apology to mr. Phelps! Damn it! Does anyone have any pics of his junk? LOL!!!
Sorry Wilbur, but Kellogg’s did the right thing regardless if they are losing potheads to purchasing their brands. You actually condone Phelps’ breaking the law?
You really are an idiot sending a message out that supports the illegal use of drugs. If this is some rant of yours in the guise against taking the moral high ground rather than obeying the laws of the land, it would certainly explain your bedwetting liberal nut-case stance in the name of “progress”; which proves you are no better than those conservative nut jobs to the right…sheesh.
Mr. Phelps is hot. 🙂
