Should I stop holding a grudge against Ryan “Bobby Hart’s battered face” Rose? Does he deserve to be forgiven for beating his ex-boyfriend in the face? Within the past week, I’ve been told on more than one occasion that he’s “very nice” and “entirely professional”, and it escalated to the point where I snapped and randomly blurted out something about how I’m sure Chris Brown is just as “nice” and “professional” when you’re not dating him (or being hate-crimed by him in a parking lot).
Of course, my bias against domestic abuse shouldn’t get in the way of your boner! Ryan filmed a new scene with Nick Sterling, and if I didn’t know a single thing about him, I’d tell you this is a pairing of two of the prettiest smooth holes available in the gay porn industry (or the hotel room of your choice, since both of them currently escort).
I’d also tell you that I’d be jerking off to this! But right now, I’m having trouble getting my dick hard enough to push these images out of my head. Am I too uptight to deal with today’s gay porn stars? Should I lock myself away and only pleasure myself to pictures of men with high moral standing and a clean criminal record? Should I stop blogging about porn, because I don’t like people who assault their ex-boyfriends until they’re bleeding? So many questions!

Jeebus. There is nothing more beautiful than Nick Sterling’s round cheeks and pink butthole. I have stills of him in a jock that I jack off to all the time. Seriously. I would kill to be face deep in that ass. I may even pay for it. 😉
They both have freaking fabulous butts. If I had to choose…Ryan Rose…but I want both!
I could eat BOTH those amazing asses for days….
I do not know what went down between Ryan / Pierce and his ex Bobby Heart so I do not know if it is a fear assessment to put Ryan in the same company as that FUCKING ASSHOLE Chris Brown !!! I will say this however I would DEEP DICK the DICKENS out of Ryan and Nick both of these boys ass’es R ripe 4 my big BjH !!!
I’m still distracted by the domestic violence issues.
As Hammer (don’t hurt ’em!) points out, we don’t know the whole story, so it is a bit unfair to keep banging your drum. I agree with you wholeheartedly that Ryan/Pierce did a horrible thing for which he should be held accountable and seek help. With mainstream performers, we sometimes unknowingly support entertainers who are terrible people who do terrible things. We don’t find out because they can afford the PR fixers (Hello, Olivia Pope) to keep those things quiet. But in cases like Ryan’s we know almost instantly and we can then choose whether to support his career or not. Good, bad or indifferent, the market takes care of the issue. You’re usually very fair, Dewitt, but you seem to be taking this one personally.
I sometimes think some people are wasted in porn. Nick sterling is a prime example. This is a guy who is reasonably intelligent and could have been an accomplished writer, broadway and contribute something more positive to society than stimulating masturbation. I just don’t believe people take into account the long term effects of doing porn. They just stupidly jump into it when they are young and hot and regret it later.
You say that as if he can’t do any of those things AFTER porn.
Not being snarky. Conner Habib is a prime example of someone who balances porn with his intellectual endeavors.

Nick may be well-aware of these so-called “long term effects of doing porn”, and he’s as intelligent as you state he is, then he knows what he’s getting himself into.
If that were the case surely you would post pictures of your face online in jockstrap and have no regrets considering the fact you run a blog it is not inconceivable. Nick has being doing porn for a while so I doubt he had the same thought process he did 5 years ago when he was considering entering the industry. I don’t see him being massive broadway star or writing for time after being so well recognised in porn. Connor Habib is also an exception not the general rule. If you gave a statistic that said 40% of pornstarts go on to have successful blogs or write for Huffington post then that would be a valid argument but in most cases I would say the majority of them have some regret and really want to do something else with their lives.
Yeah, but times and social taboos change.
Your argument, while understandable is very similar to the one made against people having tattoos. We’ve seen massive changes in tattoo acceptance over recent years. And there are more and more cross-over personalities who work in adult film and in other endeavors. (hell, the Karadshians built an empire from a sex tape)
Also, being a writer is like, one of the easiest things to also do, and who knows what pen name Nick Sterling might at this moment be writing under.
I think everyone is best off worrying about their own contributions and spending a little less time questioning other people’s decisions. It’s fine to question and speculate of course, but it’s ultimately useless because our opinions are only deeply meaningful to ourselves.
Also…doesn’t everyone have a sex tape these days?
But you have to take into account WHY they have those regrets.
It isn’t the porn industry. It’s because they probably got into the porn industry for the wrong reason(s).
DEWITT! You’re absolutely doing the right thing by not forgetting his domestic violence… nor allowing us to forget it. This stuff needs to be named and shamed, to send a clear message that its not okay to attack someone – especially someone we claim to ‘love’. The Chris Brown comparison is dead on – no double standards because the victim is a male or the perpetrator is ‘attractive’ (although personally, I don’t see it). I’m with you 100%.
My point is a lot of these guys are quite intelligent and some made the decision to go into porn too young. Obviously we all make mistakes when we are young but some mistakes are obviously more costly than others. Whether you choose to become a writer, actor, or run for congress a porn past is like being closeted all over again. Sure, society may start to accept pornography as well spent years on a CV but it will still be viewed negatively. More so you can apply this argument for all black market activities. I can’t believe anyone at the age of 21 gets it into porn for the right reasons and that they have not been forced or influenced into it one way or another. At that age most people don’t even know what they want to do. Also having a sex tape is not equatable to producing material to be distributed and sold worldwide unless you launch it on xtube and effectively that is choosing to go into porn.
I think you underestimate young men. Porn isn’t always a “mistake”.
I cant imagine most people having porn as their first career choice straight out of high school. The fact that it is a last resort will normally lead to some resentment of it in the future.
I only care … if it’s bare.
