Thanks for taking time out today to chat with me Sean. What’s your summer been like so far?

Busy. Not in that 9-to-5, working like crazy, busy push; but, busy. Life changing moments for me. I moved to the Midwest just over a year ago to gain residency before starting grad school, and now it’s the final moments of sun before grad school actually starts. I’m very excited!

I celebrated the one-year anniversary with my beau, and we’re happily going strong and steady. I’ll soon be traveling internationally to Spain for their world-renowned dance parties in Barcelona and Ibiza. Then there’s the filming, sex(t)ing, traveling and general life.

It’s going by quickly.

It sounds like the Summer of Sean™. How do you find time to juggle all that?

You should see my calendar! It’s a Jackson Pollock of color bars that tell me when and where I need to be having sex with whom or what.

Talk to me about this grad school residency. Are you busy becoming Dr. Sean Xavier?

The Ph.D. is postponed for the moment, but Master Sean Xavier is definitely in the works. The residency was more of a financial consideration. In-state tuition is much, much cheaper than out-of-state.

Informatics. More specifically, Human Computer Interaction and Design.

Of course! I’d like to launch my own brand where I stand in front of a chalkboard, slowly stripping, as I’m educating on the finer points of discrete mathematics.

Let’s switch gears — what drove you to get into the adult industry? Was school getting boring?

Hardly. It is the adult industry that has helped make school a reality for me. “Golden Handcuffs” of sex with gorgeous men for pay helped keep classes on my roster.

I’m no longer with Lucas Entertainment as of March this year.

Oh! Can you talk about what happened?

It was an amicable separation. My contract ended, and I was eager to explore different studios. I have a great relationship with Michael, and I’m a fan of their movies.

No, I won’t be performing bareback.

Got it. You mentioned that you wanted to explore different studios. Are there any in mind you’d like to work with? Or any models in particular?

How have your escorting experiences been?

98% wonderful, which is why I continue doing it. There’s something remarkably intimate that comes from escorting. In an hour, a day, weekend, or a week, you learn some of the most cherished secrets held (in many cases for years) from men that are too afraid, shy, inhibited, or repressed; and, you have the privilege of being part of their expressed vulnerability.

I take that aspect of escorting extraordinarily seriously. Here, men of very respected positions have chosen to hire me, to spend time with them, to make them feel special, feel wanted and feel valued. It’s rewarding when at the end of a session they express how everything went far beyond their expectations. I enjoy forming those connections.

And it’s not just about sex, either.

Physical attraction is irrelevant. Many of my clients do not have what is generally considered the ideal physique. If you have hang-ups about weight, age or race, you’re interested in the wrong business.

Many of my clients are inexperienced with the company of another man, and are in need of someone to be patient, understanding, supportive, comforting, caring, encouraging and willing to make their fantasies come true. It is my responsibility to find their inner beauty, and to show sincere friendliness (they can tell if someone is faking) towards meeting their needs.

This took me some time to understand. The client base I attract are generally men in their 40s or 50s, recently divorced, or in struggling marriages; they have been with men very few times, or I am their first. They are scared, lonely with their thoughts, vulnerable, and they desperately need to be loved. They are hiring to fulfill a very basic human need – the need to be loved unconditionally for the true men that they are. After years of suppressing these desires, it often comes out sexually, but what it really speaks to is an inner want for someone to embrace and affirm their manhood in all of its forms.

I have had countless men cry in my arms, because after one meeting, they have shared more with me in a few hours than they have shared with their wives, families, partner or friends in a lifetime.

I have made this mistake once, and I deeply regret it — do not abuse the innocence of their vulnerability. Recognize their humanity, compare it with your own and realize how you could be them if circumstances were different. That’s how you show genuine love and compassion, and I believe it is one of the most positive and rewarding aspects of the job.

Well said, Sean! Well, we’ve talked about your adult industry work and escorting, but tell us what you’re like in your everyday life. I think it’s pretty obvious already that you’re thoughtful and intelligent.

I’m currently looking at YouTube videos on how to make fiberglass moldings. I spend a lot of time behind the computer, so when I get to work with my hands, it’s really cathartic for me. I’m currently designing a coffee table built off of a triply periodic minimal surface. (The Batwing, for those mathematically inclined.) I’m learning different model-making techniques to see which would be best suited for the form. It should be a fun process.

What do you think people would be most surprised to know about you?

Heh, besides the whole adult entertainment career thing? Probably that I’m really getting into the whole female condom thing. As a top, it gives you the same “free” feeling that you have when you’re fucking bareback, and as a bottom, it’s surprisingly more comfortable than a traditional condom.
