EW reports that Lady Gaga and Elton John have collaborated on a track together called “Hello, Hello” for an upcoming animated flick, Gnomeo & Juliet. The film concerns two lawn gnomes (voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt) that fall in love, and hits theaters in February 2011. Lawn ornaments. We are clearly running out of cute things to animate.
Not much else is known about the track at this time, although Elton produced the movie and is providing the majority of the soundtrack. Elton is Queen High Diva, so you can imagine that Gaga did a lot of sulking behind her veil made out of veal or her ostrich feather burqa whenever he criticized her vocals.

To see Elton on The View praising Gaga (and throwing shade on everyone else), follow the JUMP:
wow, do you honestly think that he would criticize her singing?!?!?! are you tone def or what, because lady gaga has THE best voice. listen to any acoustic version of her songs she has sang, or any live performance. she would be famous even if she just put out songs a Capella.
the BEST voice? really? um, whatever. gotta love her cult like following.
Wow. This is insanity. GaGa really is a cult leader.
Gaga is good but her voice isnt the best – blinded by loyalty there mkochr
Elton – hitches his wagon to any new star as he’s past his sell by date – he reeks of desperation
Elton’s right….some songs are not worth listening to….and Lady Gaga does come out with a good song every so often!
I actually think Gaga does have an incredible set of lungs, and could really be a VERY good vocalist….but she concentrates more on performing and showing off as a performance artist than she does as a singer. Her acapella or live songs with minimal accompaniment are really quite good…and this is coming from someone who isn’t really a big Gaga fan one way or the other.
As far as Elton John, he’s dead on the money when he says he quality of songwriting isn’t anywhere near what it used to be. Most tunes today have inane lyrics about partying, or drinking, or going to the club, or shaking haters off, etc….there’s no imagination in today’s pop lyrics. Aretha Franklin, even now, is a fantastic singer, and can sing anything, but when’s the last time she had a big hit? It’s because she doesn’t sing pop fluff with disposable lyrics.
the headline should read:
Lady Gaga and Lady Elton: The Trainwreck!
fuck off you gaga haters, she is amazing… i bet you guys criticising her like britney lol
