Hey Tyson. Since I’m writing for Manhunt, my first question is whether you’re a fan of online hookups.

Online hookups are the way to go nowadays. It all depends on you and how far you want the date or hookup to go. I think the most important thing is to have certain things you know you will or won’t do when meeting a guy for the first time. I meet a lot of guys online, but I don’t go out with all of them.

I’ve got to screen some of them and their intentions. Some of the best dates I’ve had have just been hanging out, watching a movie, eating a bit of junk food. And of course hot sex! You can’t forget about that!

When you meet a guy – when it’s not work – what’s the first thing that you’re attracted to?

For me, it’s got to be a combination of brains and looks. I know it’s a lot to ask for and it sounds like a cliché, but then again, maybe that’s why I’m still single! I think it takes a very open-minded and understanding kind of guy to form a relationship with someone who does porn and escorts. They have to understand the name of the game, and while most say that they would understand, they don’t. Then it gets dramatic and messy and cue the Twitter meltdowns!

You’re in London now, but I think you’re from Manchester, right? What’s your favorite thing about London?

Well, both are pretty big cities here in the UK, but I think that London gives you the freedom to be and do whatever the hell you want. It can be a dangerous place for a newbie. This city can definitely take you down the dark road, and it’s not a good place to be. Also, I think that there are more opportunities here in London for work, especially when it comes to escorting. Before porn was pretty strong here in London, but that’s died down a bit.

Do you prefer porn to escorting?

I like doing both very much. because I am a very sexual person by nature and I really enjoy what I do. I’ve always said that they are both very similar, but with escorting it’s a bit more personal. When I’m doing porn. I really like to get into it, because at the end of the day, I know there will be people out there watching. It’s the same in escorting, but your client tells you his fantasy and you give them that.

Your work involves a lot of travel too, I bet. What’s your favorite place to go?

Well, I have to say I really love the US. Every time I go there, I have the best time ever. People are generally very nice and everyone really loves my accent, which I find funny. I love New York, Los Angeles – such good places to go out and have fun as well as work!

And what’s one place that you’ve never been to but want to see?

I haven’t been to Japan yet and will hopefully do so this year, maybe in the second half of 2015.

What about the men? What’s your favorite thing about English guys compared to men from other countries?

Well, I’m English, so I don’t really know. Hmmm… Americans are pretty much “what you see is what you get”. Which is great, I like that a lot, because people are more direct and forward. But in England we all have our cheeky side to us. We can be very polite in public, but when we’re a bit pissed, we come out of our shell and do things that we normally wouldn’t do, and I kinda like that!

How’s porn going for you? Any new scenes coming out soon?

I moved to the US last year for 6 months and shot with Falcon Studios, Next Door Ebony, Hot House and Raging Stallion, and now I’m going back to the US to film some more! I’m very excited to be working with Chi Chi LaRue, who I’ve always wanted to work for. An icon in the gay porn world and such great energy. I’m looking forward to this year’s upcoming scenes with Hot House and Raging Stallion.

And you have a personal site too, right?

Well, my site is currently being developed and will be launched in May. I decided that I wanted to have a site where you could get your daily, weekly or even hourly Tyson fix! I’m excited about my website and hopefully everyone will enjoy all the content that will be on there.

If somebody told you they wanted to get into the porn industry, what’s the first advice that you’d give them?

Well, each person goes into the business for different reasons, so I don’t know if my advice would really work for everyone. I think that if you decide to go into porn, I would say make sure you have a strong support of friends and family that you can count on when things aren’t going your way. That, and don’t be a twat.

Last question: Tell me one thing about you that I would never be able to guess.

Sometimes, I’m painfully shy.
