Blip.fm: Musical Twitter

Music Online

Has anyone tried Blip.fm yet? It
allows you to suggest music and voice your opinions about it with a network of
contacts. It’s like a Twitter
exclusively for music.

The best part is that no file uploads are necessary. You simply search for
the song you have in mind and Blip locates it on Seeqpod, Skreemr, or Blip’s
own database of music. Your followers or ‘listeners’ can hear full versions of
the songs you post using a player similar to Songza.

This actually looks like fun. I wonder how long it took for the powers that
be to think this up after Twitter launched.
