Aural Only: Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sophie-ellis-bextor

Sophie Ellis-Bextor's campy music video for "Murder On The Dancefloor" has always held a special place in my heart, to the point that I've never been able to appreciate a large portion of the work she's released since 2001. However, this may have changed with her latest single "Bittersweet".

No song has made me feel this way since Kelly Rowland and David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over". There's something completely irresistible about it. Although I'm usually pretty self-conscious about my dancing, you will find me rushing the club's dance floor as soon as this comes through the speakers. And if I look like a total queen while doing so? Whatever! It's too fucking good to care.
