Confession time! For the new year, we briefly considered eliminating Manhunt Daily‘s Drawn To You series. We put in a lot of effort scouring the internet for interesting comic artists, painters and erotic art. And what do we get in return? A whole lot of snobbery, very few hits and less time for devoting ourselves to other aspects of this blog.
Oh, we know! Cry us a damn river. While we can’t promise the series will continue on a weekly basis, we’ll gladly stop bitching and talk about today’s feature…
“The Emperor” combines photography by McKenzie James with illustrations by Andrew Coimbra, resulting in a much hotter take on Hans Christian Andersen‘s tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. As you can probably guess, we’re absolutely loving this!

I really like this series, and hope you will continue to provide it. I now from past entries you get a lot of negative feedback, and I encourage all who like a posting to provide that feedback also.

I also agre that I like this series very much. As an artist, I commend you for promoting the arts. I don’t necessarily like every artist’s style that is profiled but I respect it and respect their freedom of expression.

I love this series devoted to true artists…it’s the one place Manhunt features people who actually have talent (other than just “showing their God/parent given wares”)…more art, please!
I like the art here, and I like the whole idea of ‘Drawn to You’. But I’d like to see more art by gay artists that isn’t just retreads of Tom of Finland-style guys with huge cocks. That’s such a narrow view of what gay art is.
I am one of those snob commenters (as the visual arts is my professional realm), and I have to say that this has been one of the best ones ever, so if this was the last one, u will go out with a bang….
I hope you don’t do away with the Drawn to You feature. You find some interesting, and hot, work. It is great that you dedicate time and space to different types of erotic art. Hopefully you will “keep it up”…
