A while back, queer comic creator Brian Anderson sent us an e-mail about his work. It somehow got buried in the mad rush of daily life at Manhunt headquarters, but we were lucky enough to receive a follow-up a few weeks later.
Anderson was celebrating his two-hundredth syndicated strip on Newsarama, and we thought it’d be fun to pay tribute to the occasion with a few pages from the series’ first issue. If anything, it’s interesting to see how the artwork’s evolved over time. Compare these pages to his latest work. He’s really mastered the art of comic book panels, utilizing the frames and illustrations to tell his story. Bravo, my friend!

Here’s an older interview with the creator:
those strips were painful to look at
Not funny or interesting. Art skills are iffy. No wonder nobody else commented on this. If you can’t say something nice, dont say anything at all. I guess i should take that advice but this is just bad and a bit homophobic.
