I just love controversial commercials! Especially when they are gay-themed. Mr. Sub, a Canadian sandwich restaurant is in hot water after airing a commercial making fun of a father coming out.
The heat for the ad got so strong that Mr. Sub eventually blamed and fired their advertising agency over it. I don't think the ad is that controversial, if anything the ad agency should have been fired because the ad was simply not funny. But did it greatly upset me? NO!
What do you guys think?

I actually believed was funny… “Like gay-gay?”… “Like Super-super-gay”
It reminds me Juno…
I agree with Carlos, it was superfunny. Especially since it starts out with naming all the kids he fathered, and when the little girl asked him gay as in gay, he goes super gay. and when he said super gay (I’m just picturing this guy with a feather boa constrictor at gay bars). and the wife as well all prim and proper. Its taking the mickey out of the traditional prim and proper marriage scene. So funny
It wasn’t laugh-out-loud funny, but it was cute. Carlos, when he said “super, super gay” I immediately thought Big Gay Al in Southpark.
“I’m super, thanks for asking!”
very funny.
i thought it was cheeky, and it didnt bother me at all.
I agree….funny. Maybe people were angered because most of the kids actually had biblical names…..LOL
i thought it was funny too
I thought it funny and wasn’t bothered by it at all, either. WE (gays and lesbians collectively) need to loosen up and learn how to laugh at ourselves more. Afterall, what is the best defense against a red-neck-inbred-bible-thumping-homophobe’s insults? Getting hot and angry or ruining their fun by laughing.
(and don’t worry, they don’t understand hyphenated references)
