Talk about life imitating art! Now this will make sense if you've seen Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. If you did, you probably remember the masquerade ball orgy at the end of the film. Yes, it was creepy and sexy and now similar parties are organized all over the globe.
Halswell House in Somerset, UK was the scene of a very similar party. The house owner, Grahame Bond, was forced to call police after 350 guests in masks began having an orgy in his mansion! I guess he was worried about all those bodily fluids messing up his house.
The owner told The Telgraph "The party started normally and it all seemed pretty harmless – people were drinking but everyone was very well behaved and pleasant… But then one of the organisers announced: 'The moment has come. The spell has begun' and everyone began kissing and having sex. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I was totally lost for words it was as if a switch had been flicked on."
That actually sounds kind of hot, but I digress. In the end Bond had to wait it out as the police could do nothing, but he did send his younger staffers home. Not shockingly, he stayed.
