Before you hit that “buy album” button and shell out ten dollars, ask yourself–“Do I really need a curated collection of Lady Gaga‘s best remixes?” That isn’t to say that there’s anything wrong with The Remix. In fact, it’s one of the few remix album purchases that you won’t wind up regretting immediately afterwards.
With that said, you really have to be a fan of Lady Gaga to appreciate this. Yet that’s probably a given. The more important disclaimer? You have to be a fan of Lady Gaga remixes. Believe it or not, the two areas of fandom are extremely different.
You don’t want to be the type of person who buys this, attempts to listen from start to finish and consistently thinks to yourself, “Wow, I really prefer listening to the original version.” If you’re not sure if you’d fall under this category, listen to samples of the various remixes on iTunes. Then proceed to buy them all or pick and choose your faves. Or you could just skip it altogether.

Sadly to say I will not be buying the Remix, love Gaga but I’m personally fame monstered out. I will wait until next year and buy the upcoming two albums.
im glad im not the only one that is done with her until the new cd…pls lady gaga just come out with something new already cause two years with the same cd is a little redik
I never consider buying this until i just preview the tracks and now i must buy it. I didnt know there was a way to make Dance in the Dark sound any better, that is her best song to date. Love this lady!
I’m a huge GaGa fan but I have never really liked remixes. I’ll check them out I guess but it’s unlikely I’ll purchase any.
Not a Ga ga fan. After these trax, definitely not.
The US version only has 10 tracks, whereas other countries where this was released have 17-18 tracks. The Canadian version is one of the better ones, with a much better cover picture as well.
Yah, no thx 🙂
