I know, I know. True Blood’s a popular show with the gays because of all the chewable dudes running around bareass, but the last couple of seasons have been a little…uneven. Personally, I liked the witch lady and Season 5’s look into the vampire hierarchy was…fun(?) at times? But they have kind of strayed from the formula of what made this show great. That formula being pre-constantly whining SOOKEH(!) and pre-wimpy but then a vampire god BEEEEL(! always say these names in tortured Southern accents with exclamation points) are star-crossed lovers, Pam throws epic shade, Eric is hot and a romantic monkey-wrench, rinse, repeat.
The thing to always remember is that Alexander Skarsgard, Joe Manganiello, and Ryan Kwanten are hot as fuck. And they have body oddy oddy for eons. Here’s the Season 6 trailer. Openly gay creator Alan Ball might have left the building, but he obviously left behind a directive to his successor to make sure there’s a lack of shirts in the wardrobe trailer.
