3. Is it really going to be random, or like last time when the people chosen just happened to magically be hot? I guess we’ll see after it ends. If that is the case than I don’t see any reason to do these any more since they probably won’t be random.

6. I think it’s amazing how everyone that won stuff in this contest are hot guys. Really random picking there manhunt. There wasn’t any randomness about this contest. It was a bunch of horny guys in an office picking names, whose to say these usernames were even online. NONE of us will ever know.

7. Last time not all the guys were hot, I recognized one of the names from last time. . .and he was no prize

8. If it happened again then I see no reason to ever renew my subscription again. Not a big fan of false claims of random drawings. Probably should take a look and see if this constitutes as fraud, but since you didn’t have to be a paying member this time then maybe not.

14. I’d have to agree with the rigged comments about the contest. The main winner this time was a cute white 25 year old, looks a little twinky. Congrats to him but magically that type of person is going to the white party.
    Manhunt and really the whole gay scene is not geared to latins, blacks, asians or other minorities. And also not friendly to regular looking whites guys with regular bodies either. I won’t renew, despite their special.
    Like all sex sites/sex industry, it’s crooked as hell and is based on sex/sex appeal for winning. Not random in the least.

15. I love how they sent me this email. NOTE: IT SAYS THEY ARE GIVING ME 6 MONTHS FREE MEMBERSHIP but they did not up grade my accnt until I complained and last night they sent me an email saying that they where uprading it for two days. On this page it says I’m given 30 days. This is what they emailed me:
    “On February 11, 2010 at 01:51 PM, ManhuntContests wrote:
    Congratulations – you are one of the winners of last night’s Date with Manhunt contest!
    You have won a 6-month Manhunt Unlimited Membership!
    We’ve already upgraded your account, so happy hunting – and thanks for being a Manhunt member!”
    And all this is supposed to make them look good? To who?
    There a mess! And all of you are right there so called contest is a fucking farce and sham!

    As one of the data geeks who actually parses through the database, I can tell you that most certainly the winners are selected randomly and only if they met the requirements of being online during the time of the contest.
    We’re looking to continue bringing you great contests with awesome prizes. Don’t get discouraged if you didn’t win this time around, we had LOADS of guys online, and sadly, there can only be a limited amount of winners.
    I’ve responded to everyone up to this point with a concern below.
    @S, It’s amazing how many ‘hot’ guys we have on MANHUNT. And everyone’s perception of hot differs.
    @Jf, The contest is most certainly not a “false claim” and I’m sorry you feel that way and that you would want to discontinue your time with us as a result of it. I hope that you’ll believe me when I tell you it’s random and based on our list of sessions during the contest timeframe, but that’s up to you.

The member is 25 and “twinky,” but have you considered that we have a lot of 20-something “twinky” members? Statistically, it’s not that absurd that he would be the winner of our contest. I’m sorry that the results of this contest are impacting your decision to subscribe to our service and we hope to see you again soon.

19. Well that’s nice that you’re addressing concerns 🙂 This is why I’m not part of and HR, PR or your job either. My response to the complaints would have been. “Hey, of you don’t like the industry and want to find fault, get off your lazy asses and try and find a guy out beyond the internet then. 🙂 And it’s not like it hurt you or anything. You didn’t have to pay to enter the contest. Are you THAT desperate for free full service of MAnhunt?” Hehe. But then again, I’ve been told I’m an asshole.

    I’ve never been to a White Party (…or any circuit party for that matter.)
    This is a really generous prize and I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to have a second spring break this year. My scheduled spring break (I’m a grad student in international development at one of the top-rated programs for this discipline in the world) will be spent in Haiti assisting with the dire situation there. No one person can do much, but we can all do something. Please consider donating to an organization of your choice. I recommend Care international; just email me and I’ll explain why.
    I guess I need new pictures, because I would hardly describe myself as a twink…???? I’m 175lbs, almost 180, of muscle (and maybe a little extra winter fat to keep me warm, hehe.) I don’t appreciate being labeled a twink with it’s connotations of drug use and promiscuity. Yes, I’m on manhunt, and it’s a great site for meeting guys and chatting with friends (yes some of us actually make and talk to our friend on here, imagine that guys.)
