Aural Only: Beyonce

Beyonce, B.B. Homemaker, Why Don't You Love Me, music video

Just when you thought Beyonce would step away long enough to let her old friend Kelly Rowland cherish a moment in the spotlight, she goes and releases another damn music video! Luckily, it's for her album's supremely underrated bonus track "Why Don't You Love Me?", and she's totally working her new alter ego B.B. Homemaker.

The clip almost seems like a spin-off to Lady Gaga's "Telephone", with the diva breathing new life into her pinup girl look while continuing to showcase her comic chops. Has Beyonce ever come off as lovable in any of her other music videos? Because I just want to pinch her cheeks!

  1. I like it, a cool 50’s 60’s vibe. Although, I don’t know why? The tour is over and I am sure she’s working on a new album. I heard a more upbeat version of this that was awesome.

  2. Dewitt’s right, she released this because Miss. Rowland has an epic single coming out.
Lol @ dusting her 16 Grammys off. I sense some serious shade without words being thrown here.

  3. the doo wop old school thing mixed with some popfunk is making a come back, which is what lorlilee has been doing.
i initially thought christina would do the old school, thing in her latest music video since its closer to her back to basics style.
kelli shouldn’t worry though – she just needs to get krista from ANTM in one of her videos and compose some scenes and have krista doing those killer poses

  4. It’s great, it’s like prequel to Telephone…lol like what happened before the Pussy Wagon. 🙂

  5. hahaha that was awesome. dusting off the gramys was priceless. hope to hear it on the radio, but i don’t think she’s quite as popular here in canada. loved it though.

  6. Oh! Come on, people. Stop trying to make competition between the two girls.

  7. hahaha, I love it. It’s actually my favorite song off the album. and the jumpsmokers remix is my favorite remix.

  8. Very talented lady and a fun song. Her bonus tracks are better than the songs on alot of people’s albums haha!
Either way, look forward to seeing what she has in store foor her next album…

  9. she is talented .. Kelly too.. maybe we need to stop putting out own insecutrities onto others

  10. “Sasha Fierce”, “Honey B”, or “B.B. Homemaker”, any alter ego she wants, I love ’em all! LMAO @ the Grammy scene! Like she’s subtly lettin’ everybody know who runnin’ the industry, haha! Go Queen B!
