We apologize if Cut Copy’s new music video brings back memories of awkward gym class moments. You know, those times when you were playing a game of basketball/gymnastics, and it suddenly turned into an epic, Lord of the Rings-style battle? So embarrassing!
Nonsensical jokes aside (watch the clip and you’ll understand), the Australian synth-pop trio’s latest single takes the best elements of ’80s music and releases it in an explosive wave of dance-party action. What do you think? Does “Need You Now” deserve a spot on our Weekly Top Ten?

Yall are major cunts! It’s not always about being new, inventive, or the next big thing. This track is awesome to dance to and encapsulates a true emotion. I LOVE IT!!!
yes it does!
weak !! pass
I like them! Their music is so gleefully 80s and disco! At first I thought it was a bit cheesy sounding, then it really grew on me. Now I’m listening to them a lot more. “Blink and You’ll Miss a Revolution” is a good one.
I love it. It’s a bit of the “same old” if you’re a Cut Copy fan, but I don’t see much wrong with a little familiarity.
and please, list the other 200 songs this sounds like that are out now.
