Reviews from readers were mixed last time we posted Kelly Rowland and David Guetta's "When Love Takes Over". But if you weren't feeling the gay club vibe of the original, perhaps you'd prefer the acoustic version Kelly performed yesterday on BBC Radio 1.
The lyrical content isn't particularly special, but she sings this song with such heart and conviction. If anything, it's better than Solange Knowles' half-ass attempt at doing Bjork's "It's Oh So Quiet". Will either of these girls ever emerge from Beyoncé's shadow? I sure hope so!

It’s already been playing at the gay bars in MPLS as of recently…even though I’ve had it in my playlist for about 2 months now.

wish her much success and look forward to more from her in the future
Oh hey, I’ve heard this song.
Never would’ve in a million years thought I’d be here!
Too bad she just can’t seem to get this whole solo thing more off the ground.
Singing background is always a trap!
