It's no secret that I've been skeptical of Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester's music career. She showed off some mildly impressive pipes on Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Go Bad", but even R&B stud Robin Thicke couldn't save her debut single "Somebody To Love". Heidi Montag's album was more bearable than that piece of crap.
Meester's latest single "Your Love's A Drug" makes up for her previous mediocrities (even if it's doomed for comparisons to Ke$ha's similarly titled "Your Love Is My Drug"). The actress opts for actually singing this time around, turning out a fun number that's made for the dancefloors. Will we remember it five years from now? Probably not. But it'll keep our asses shaking for now.

To listen to "Your Love's A Drug", follow the JUMP:
Mediocrity to the max! Horrible!
She’s pretty.
…and that’s about it.
its good enough for today’s market
maybe a lit biased 🙂
I agree, its one of those songs you’ll hear on the radio and go “oh i remember that” and then 10 minutes later you’ll have completely forgotten that it existed again. But it is a little catchy, but Jimmy T is right calling it Mediocre.
Nothing is worse than Heidi Montag. Take that back!
Somebody to Love was actually good, and this is pretty good too. I hope these aren’t the best on the album though.
^ Lmao, I was going to say the exact same thing. Whoever let Heidi Montag record an album should be shot!
I liked her cameo in ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ too but her solo stuff has been pretty meh. I wish her all the success in the world but this stuff is just.. bland.
