There’s been a demand to add some metal to our Weekly Top Ten charts. Considering that our definition of “metal” involves shiny things that don’t scream into out ears, we thought we’d compromise with the next best thing–a song that you’d never hear playing at a gay bar.
Since sucking cock and listening Kylie Minogue don’t always go hand-in-hand, we thought we’d feature Linkin Park‘s latest single “The Catalyst”. Sure, it’s quite likely there are better rock songs out there, but this one just debuted at the top spot on Billboard’s Rock charts. What do you think–is this one a keeper?

To listen to “The Catalyst”, follow the JUMP:
wow, a really nice song.
i love Linkin Part, but their previous album was rather crap.
this song, however, is awesome even after the first listen.
thanks for posting!
Great song! This song was featured on a preview for “Surviving The Cut” a new show on the Discovery Channel that I’m EXCITED to watch tomorrow night
I love Linkin Park. Loved their every album. Hybrid Theory,Meteora, Reanimation, Minutes to Midnight.. you name it. I love the new musical direction they’ve taken since Minutes to Midnight. And they constantly re-invent their sound. They’re fucking genius! For all those suckers that think they’re too mainstream for rock, suck on this… even you sing along to “In the End” when it plays out loud!

“In the End” is my favorite song!!!
The lyrics are very thought-provoking, but I will take my Kylie anyday 😉
I love linkin park everything that make is amazing, cant wait for the album!
It’s great to see Linkin Park on the scene again. Not their greatest song, but I do enjoy it.
Umm. I’m a fan of them, but not this song. Hopefully they can come up with better.
LP can for sure could come up with much better.
It wasn’t very entertaining.
It wasn’t thought provoking.
all i have to say though is wtf.
didn’t the voice changer go out of style like… last year ….
Am I the only one that thinks this sounds over-produced? Too much synth for their own good imo =/
Everyone is talking about how good this song is but all I hear is Linkin Park doing their impression of a gay bar trance song.
This isn’t the band I grew up listening to.
… but it ain’t bad.
