"Lady Gaga with training wheels" would be a fitting description for up-and-coming pop diva Lolene. She's got the club-ready sound down, but this bitch needs some schooling on style, image and presence. Don't believe me? Take a look at her debut music video "Sexy People". If she makes it any further in her career, she's going to look back and laugh at that.
Speaking of making it, Lolene has just dropped a new single entitled "Rich (Fake It 'Til You Make It)". It's fun as far as mindless pop goes, and we'd recommend it for anyone who can tolerate the Pussycat Dolls. What do you think of this one? We think it may need to grow on us… or just go away altogether. In other words, we haven't made up our minds yet.

I checked out all three, and here we have yet another example of the really sorry state of what’s called “music” today. Nothing but mindless lyrics, non-melodies, and auto-tune vocals or pseudo-rap, where everyone sounds like Britney Spears at her worst or Ke$ha at her best. And the “Kiss My Ass” track is so lacking in originality that it steals melody lines and chord progressions from 50’s Doo-Wop. If this girl “makes it”, it will be both a miracle and a travesty.
Where do you find this stuff anyway? Does someone pay you to put stuff like this on this website?

JR Rotem is no good. To me, he’s the worst producer in dance/pop music today, next to Scott Storch. He never ever come up with something original and every song that samples – or just simply steals – another’s. Look at Jason DeRulo. “Whatcha Say” sampled Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek” and the new single “In My Head” sounds exactly as if Gaga’s “just Dance” and “Poker Face” were put together.
I’m not a huge fan of this, but Jimmy T is just another holier-than-thou douche with a thesaurus. Luckily, today we don’t have to suffer from listening to only 3 or 4 genres of music. Besides, there are only so many ways you can put chords together. Autotune though, that’s another story…
