If you told us a week ago that one of our new favorite songs would include a spoken word sequence by Sir Ian McKellen, we probably wouldn't have believed you. Of course, it would have all made sense if you told us it'd be a tune from the Scissor Sisters' upcoming album Night Work. Only they could turn something this awesome into something even more awesome.
At the moment, it's unclear whether "Invisible Light" is an accurate representation of what we'll hear on the new project, but I think we can all agree that it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if they changed up their sound. What do you think of this track? Does it get you excited for the album?

Sounds very Pink Floyd….
love it ….
yes Darren I concur –very Pink floyd (meets Abba?)
didn’t really do anything for me– didn’t hit me as viscerally as their other work. very over labored or something. trying too hard?
Love it! Definitely a Pink Floyd-sounding track, vocals that echo Abba and Bee Gees, and the Ian McKellan narration is a total Vincent Price/”Thriller” rip-off. How can it miss?
AWESOME, like other say ABBA and BeeGees crash into Pink Floyds Brick Wall!
Wow love it and haven’t even finished listening to it for the first time! Nice ass too!
I have to agree, it’s an awesome track. If this is a throwaway track from the album, the rest of it is going to be phenomenal.
Sounds a bit Depeche Mode to me? Lot darker than their usual stuff?
The song is great and that’s one hot ass in that picture.
