If you’re not a fan of Tinie Tempah‘s “Written In The Stars”, then you can take it up with your fellow readers. We received multiple requests for this song on last Saturday’s Weekly Top Ten, so we’ve decided to give it a chance on this weekend’s countdown. Of course, it’d probably help if you heard it before then…
Though the song has barely made a blip on this side of the pond, it currently rests in the number one position on the UK charts. But does it have a chance on our charts? Not if you don’t vote for it! Check out the music video, and let us know if you’ll be showing your support.

This song is #1 in the UK? If you say so. It’s ok, but definitely not something I could imagine becoming that big in the U.S. Maybe if his label got someone famous from the states on it, it could get more exposure, like when they put Ludacris on Taio’s first single to help it sell and make him more mainstream.
Funny you mention Taio in your posting, since he’s in the remix version of this song. There are lots of urban acts selling big in the UK this year besides Tempah, like Roll Deep, Dizzie Rascal and Prof. Green.
No support here. Yes, it’s #1 but please don’t judge us on this track!! Every damn song he does is basically the same with a slightly different beat. Boring.
Well, the album got very good reviews in England and for those who don’t like this single, there are other songs in the CD that feature collaborations with Ellie Goulding and Kelly Rowland. Plus you can also hear “Miami 2 Ibiza” which is a single he did with Swedish House Mafia.
